How do you set this up? I didn't realise that might be an option to pay Aqua from your bank account? I couldn't find anything on the FAQ on Aqua.
Look on the back of your statement for the appropriate details.

Call centre now say they are aware of problem and working to fix it but it may be some time.

Was v frustrating phoning up and having to listen to "why not manage your account online" at 5p/minute...
But I actually got through to a helpful person fairly quickly, so I will not be cancelling the card yet but wait for them to sort out the problem.
  • I've been having problems logging in from the UK, keep getting the message

    "The following errors were found:
Sorry, we can’t verify the account information you’ve keyed in. Please call aqua Customer Services on 0845 601 0436. Lines are open 8am to 9pm Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm Saturday, and 10am to 6pm on Sundays. To maintain a quality service, we may monitor or record phone calls. Call charges will apply."

I called them on Sunday and they said it was my computer so tried logging in from work and on my mobile/tablet but still the same. Spoke with a lady today and she said there is currently an issue affecting some users and its being investigated but they don't know how long it will take :/
:)If you are not very careful, your possessions will possess you! :)

From 26 October 2015, asking existing customers to call an 084, 087 or 09 number will not be allowed. The new FCA rules that come into effect on that date require financial service organisations to use numbers starting 01, 02, 03 or 080. Small businesses that would ordinarily be expected to be contacted via a mobile phone can continue to advertise a mobile number.

In the meantime, if the 0845 number isn't accompanied by a declaration of the Service Charge in close proximity to the number, then this is already a breach of the new Ofcom regulations that came into force on 1 July 2015.

They're certainly taking their time sorting it out; I still can't log on.
It's a good card - no exchange fees - but it's no good if I can't manage it online. Website's always been creaky, but now it's been weeks with no access and getting beyond a joke...
  • I've been trying for what seems like ages to log into my Aqua account, so in a way it's good to know that I'm not alone in not being able to connect to and consult my account.

I work a lot in France so I need to log in, and no, phoning's not the answer because all you get is the amount you've spent and the balance.

I've tried with a VPN as well, but failed miserably.

I phoned Aqua today (on their premium rate number. They don't accept calls on the alternative numbers on 'Say no to 870'), and was told that there's no problem at their end, and it must be my computer that's at fault!

In six days time, this will become a breach of the new FCA regulations that come into effect on 26 October 2015. You should insist on a number starting 01, 02, 03 or 080.

    I AM FURIOUS!!!!!!

They have GENUINELY blocked their login URL from being accessed anywhere outside a UK IP address.

Worked as far as the airport and then boom! I only managed to log on via the Android 'surf easy' app, where you can 'pretend' you're in another country so you can access blocked content, i.e., US TV shows.

How on earth is these legal for Aqua? And how does this benefit them anyway, and isn't the rewards card for SPENDING overseas with no fees? But you can't check your account WHILST AWAY? !!!!!!!!!!!

Has anyone managed to select statements online? I just keep getting error messages.
  • I am in the USA and the log in page has been timing out for days. I phoned them up. It cost me a lot of money and they told me there was no problem. I have had no problem accessing any of my other accounts. It is impossible to manage my account. I got this card to use abroad.
