i've just started trying to earn a few pounds using this..
5% on C/A and 5% on RegSav are welcome. trying to bag a £5% monthly bonus to is a nice little touch, but none of the Tesco stores around me offer contactless:undecided.. M&S and an independent Bar are all i've managed so far.0 -

I changed my pin but my first contactless transaction was still rejected - until I used the new pin to make a payment.
Same with me. Have yet to use the card again so will see if works contactless next time!
Life is getting more complicated now. I have been using my Halifax clarity card if I knew I was going to spend more than £300 in a month for the £5 reward. If it seemed unlikely I used my Aquacard to get 0.5%. Now for contactless purchase I will use the TSB!0 -
Is the cashback credit at the end of the month? I used contactless on Friday, the amount has been deducted with no cashback discount.0

I did change my PIN a while ago (i.e. well before the first contactless transaction). I would probably have checked that the new PIN worked at a cashpoint too, which might have been a further 'transaction' perhaps. I know I hadn't used for contactless before on that account/card though.
Clear as mud. Could it depend on the retailer perhaps? Probably safer to follow the advice above and try a small initial contactless payment to make sure.0 -
Didn't really want to create a new thread, but when did TSB remove their requirement of direct debit requirement for their 5% interest current account?
Does the cashback offer worth with any outlet?0 -

There has never been any requirement for DD for TSB plus account ...
To earn interest, which is paid monthly, just pay in a minimum of £500 a month and register for Internet Banking, Paperless Statements and Paperless Correspondence, that it is.
It should work on any outlet as long as there is a way to pay using contactless debit card.0 -

There was a recent switching offer that required direct debits to be set up, but that was purely for receiving the switching offer.0
