Morning all. MIA yesterday but I did change the bedding and do the dailies around the paid stuff.
This morning I've cleaned a couple of windows and done the dailies. About to start paid stuff now.
Biscuit Monster - have a great holiday
Thanks all for your replies about the wedding, I've decided to go with Kazwookie's suggestion of a bottle of champers and a card.
Have a great day everyone.Spend less now, work less later.0 -
Argh, still haven't done anything! This is bad
going away from Internet and not coming back until more than half of the things done off list.

Morning all!
Completely understand your dilemma mumto5. Been there once or twice myself.
Currently feeling completely useless here. DH is doing a great job on a day to day basis - we are fed and the washing is done. But the rest of the place is falling to pieces. Mentally I am fine, but the minute I try to do anything I start to shake.
Anyway DS is off this week and he has volunteered to take me to the hospital for today's blood test.
I feel for DS. All his mates are in relationships which is tough, but he found out last night that his best mate is going to move in with his girlfriend, but they are going to Teesside to do it.
I am sure our DSs will all be fine but being a mother is the hardest job in the world...:jFlylady and proud of it:j0 -
Hugs CY your most important job at the mo is getting plenty of rest and giving yourself time to get well and let your medication do its job. Please don't feel guilty or useless you are most certainly not either of those.
Everyone around you loves you and will only feel guilty if they see you getting upset learn to perhaps delegate a bit more and ask if the jobs that are really bothering you can be done as well.
I feel your frustration.SPC~12 ot 124
In a world that has decided that it's going to lose its mind, be more kind my friend, try to Be More Kind0 -
CY- I completely agree with Mrs MP. You have three jobs on your list..... Rest, drink tea and rest some more. No guilt should enter your head. If they are bothered about the house they will do it. Just shows all the things you did! Could you perhaps get some some paid help in to lighten the load or just ignore the best you can. Visitors won't care if they come to see you.

Would it help if you wrote a list of things you see need doing, the things which bug you most and ask them to do those??
Would they be receptive to that?
Is there anywhere a cleaner could be hired, even as just a one off to get things ship shape again?? Could you cope with that?? Do MacMillan have any services like this you could access??
If I could drive I'd be over there with my Marigolds and Microfibre and you could boss me about a bit.. I can't do much as my hips are awful.. but I'd try!
And visitors are coming to see you NOT your house.. and if they are coming to see your house they can help you a bit too!!LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0
