Oh Valli poor you. But I'm much like pigpen in the sense that mine have been ready to go back since the beginning of the holidays! Have managed some things off of my list but still plenty left to do. Have made a lot of bits to do whilst little ones are in the bath, I seem to manage to get an awful lot done then!

Ah just checked Roo's trousers, assuming they would be fine, and they're ankle swingers!!! Whoops best nip to matalan tomorrow!

Laundry central here today. But bright and breezy (the weather, not me ;)) so two loads out on the line.

All unpacked and put away, except suitcases - waiting for holiday things to dry before it all goes in the loft.

Right, going to have a shower before Mr S delivery comes followed by our guests. Balloons are inflated and DR has been partified. Table looks pretty. Will shower then sort seating and tidy some toys away.

Wiped out my fridge while it was completely (other than pickles etc) bare :)

How is it Sunday already?!!?

Oh well, DD is ready to go back to school, and sorry Valli but we've been ready for her to go back since she broke up as well :rotfl:

Got DD up at 6.30am and made her leave the house with me at 7am to walk the dog down to the river again :D Took more than an hour longer to do it this week as DD kept wanting to stop as she was tired. Next week I might go on my own

Been to Mr A & Mr Al for the weekly shop. Spent more than I should have, but with DD going back to school tomorrow the food I have in should last longer in theory. I think I'm going to have to have a store cupboard month as my freezer and food cupboard are both bursting due to bargains I've snaffled. ;) That'll help as I have quite a few one off expenses coming up in the next 6 weeks so every penny saved is a good thing.

WM has just finished its second load, 1st is out on the line, the 3rd is waiting to go in. I'm determined that we'll use the TD less while the weather is dry. So I'm off to hang this load out, then wash up, and see if DD wants some ginger cakes for her lunch or whether I can leave them until later in the week. Then I have sewing repairs to do...and a lot of them :o

Neveah lovely to "see" you, sweetie; gentle fluttering sounds good, I hope you're as well as you can be. x

Your me time with Ben sounds perfect LW
Yep.:T I don't have human friends to have coffee with, and I don't do hairdressers or manicures etc (my idea of hell), but give me a dog wanting a game, and I'm a happy Wolf.;)

Diodn't get online yesterdat, but Mr LW and I managed to get some cheap oranges, which added to the lemons I already had in the fridge, made "St Clements Marmalade":o

Folks, I have to go; there's a large Labrador waiting to go walkies. Back later if I can.;)

Welcome back sweetie, I'm glad you are doing ok, stick to a little fluttering.

Been mostly doing bits in the garden today, bit of an autumn tidy up and DS2 has been rubbing the flaking paint off the windows so we can slop some paint on before winter and DH has been repairing the rotten wood on the 'playhouse.

Washing to get in and having a bbq for dinner whilst the weather is ok.

Need to do a bit of ironing this evening and look at school exam results before mtg with dep head straight after the paid stuff tomorrow.

Kitchen is tidy, dishes mainly washed (just a couple of bits into soak), packed lunch stuff is stashed, trail mix weighed out into individual portions to stop her eating the whole bag, 4th wash load in and curry stain on the worktop removed I think. Going to wait until it dries out properly before I call it a success. Now to sort laundry, and see if I can minimise the ironing pile ;)
