As everyone else has said take it easy today CY! My DS is doing way too much at the moment and starting to look a grey sickly colour which is a sure sign that all is not well. He knows he is overdoing it and won't listen so what can you do. Will be interesting to see what his bloods show when he next goes for treatment.
I have done very little flying, other than the basics. I did do some work on job no. 2 yesterday which I was pleased about.
I am off early this morning so that I can make a detour on the way to work to tie a big bunch of balloons on SILs gatepost. She is 50 today and if her neighbours dont know now they will later! I am fairly sure she will be in bed so just have to hope she is not letting the cat out or something!0 -

Morning all!
I was up before DH at 6 to get DS3's trousers ironed for school. He only has one pair at the moment. His first 2 days have been uneventful and he is enjoying it immensely. The early starts are continuing but he struggled this morning to be out in time. I will speak to his friend's mum (my nice neighbour) and get the start time pushed back to 8am. I dropped DH at Stan5ted at 7 and have been flying - 2 loads of washing completed, DW unstacked. Kitchen S/S. TD emptied and folded. Dog fed.
Nice online chat with a friend
Going to shower and get dressed properly now!0 -

Afternoon all! Login issues resolved.
Ended up like a human pincushion yesterday. Line in at 3rd attempt. I had the trainee nurse yesterday - fully qualified, but learning the new job. She was great, but as she was giving me some meds via the cannula she turned to join in a conversation, yanking on a delicate cannula. I hope I told her politely - and I hope she's learned from it!
Tentatively feeling reasonable today. Over the last fortnight I have rediscovered my reading mojo. A friend from a book group recommended a crime author and I have started reading them. I downloaded the 6th to my kindle this morning..... I trust this will convince you that I am doing little or nothing at the moment.
Hope all offspring are enjoying new school/classes. It seems such a long time ago...:jFlylady and proud of it:j0 -
More happy reading vibes heading your way, CY. *ouch* about the cannula.
Narco, I love that you've carefully prepared the supplies for the rodent's winter, but not your OH. Priorities and all that.
Good luck, MMM. I can't remember - is this a new thing, or Year 2/3?
Shower scrubbed this morning, WM x 2 but goodness knows where I'm going to peg it all out as Lovely Lodger has decided to do all of her laundry in one hit without telling me, prior to moving out tomorrow. Grr. Oven given a chemcial peel.Better is good enough.0 -
Afternoon all
Serious reading going on CY - keep the resting up! I, too, have been *ahem* resting, with Tiny who was up screaming in the night. Obviously he needed a nap and snuggling under the blanket with him was fatal. Luckily for me I blitzed the bathroom yesterday and the study area is tidy :j Oh, and my Asda a delivery was early, so all unpacked and in cupboards.
Just having a cuppa (to wake myself up) then onwards to the boys' room to finish bed-changing, hoover, dust and sort a blanket box filled with winter clothes. It's cold today, so appropriate, me thinks.
MMM - hope uni goes well - is it a full-time or part-time course?
Glad to hear your little one has had a stress-free start to school life Mumto5 - Small has thoroughly enjoyed himself too, despite being knocked over in the playground on the first day. No seizure and he was very brave (stickers always help) so I think he'll settle in well.0 -

This is a new thing, I am embarking on a degree (full time) in Natural Sciences, I am looking forward to it but I am also very nervous.0 -
Afternoon flyfriends
Been a busy girly so far.
DDs room is decluttered, cleaned and her bedding is in the wash
Bathroom scrubbed to within an inch of its life. Bath mats ready to go into WM next.
My bedding washed and flung on the line.
A load of towels washed and flung on the line.
OH is outside cutting the grass.
DS2 has been decluttered to shop for tea bags and saw dust.
Stopping for a cuppa, then I will hoover upstairs and get Rabbit cleaned out.
CY well done on the reading and resting!I'm not a muggle...I'm just magically challenged0
