BTW - I found my hairbrush in the fridge this morning, so I think that qualifies me to join the brainfog gang xCat has had a good night and has got herself on and off the bed and is curled up normally.
Also clear-sight vibes for HB's Devil Cat.cyclingyorkie wrote: »I spend a good deal of my time advising DD1 to pace her activities. I need to listen to my own advice.
Silly me, I knocked myself into Wednesday week again after I logged off yesterday; couldn't bear seeing the back lawn looking like an unkempt mess any longer, so I mowed it.... cue much stiffness and ouchiness today.
Still, I've been to the GP and come away with prescriptions for Blephasol (sp?) lotion and eye drops for dry eyes.
Mrs MP I'm with Dusty I'm afraid I wouldn't have the patience for the bed-moving, either. If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -
hi, sorry it's been a while since I was last here. My house was perfect, from following the motivation and half following lists from here, and in a month it has all gone to pot, what was organised and neat is now not at all!! To the extent I now have 8 loads of washing that need doing, and none of the toys now fit into the toy box, and don't get me started on the bathrooms!
Please can I wiggle back in, I will have to follow off piste, as I can't really follow a list, but love the encouragement on here. Hope everyone is well, and it's nice to see Piggers back.
This morning I have, done 3 loads of washing, May was catastrophically sick this morning, so blankets etc done, but I can still smell it yuk! And I've built a dolls house! Its only a tiny flat pack one, but my goodness, talk about swearing!
Just sitting down for lunch then I think I might make a tray bake, with jam and coconut.
going to try and knit a very simple jumper for May, has anyone got any idiot proof patterns websites, as my knitting is appalling.
Feels nice to be back, like I'm back in control again0 -

Dizzy depending on how many tree, it might be worth getting in a local tree surgeon as a one off cut, to get it done well
Yes, I think you're right. Annoyingly, my nephew is a tree surgeon but I've just moved 300 miles away...might have to suggest a weekend break for him, wife and dogs...Dustykitten wrote: »Dizzy we don't use the 'f' word here Mrs! Our intentions are good, life just gets in the way (you've done far more than I have).
Indeed it does! Today has been much more productive. Bathroom scrubbed, boys' bedroom tidied, kitchen sorted - WUDAPU, dishwasher filled and refilled once completed, HHI and three loads in WM and TD, chickens checked and another egg collected (thanks Clive(yes, that's the poor thing's name)) so currently having a cuppa.... When Tiny wakes up we will have lunch then the main bedroom needs attention.
Hope Valli moggy is doing well - poor ole pusscat x
Missymoo - traybake sounds like a great idea. I'll be making an apple pie with some humongous cookers from the orchard. At this rate, we will have to buy a chest freezer to make sure all the fruit doesn't go to waste!0 -
Been out for a walk with my friend, raining now so WM1 back in WM2 just finished so I'll see about putting that out if it passes over.
Another HH paperwork with a cuppa next and then I need to go food shopping. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
Oooh thanks Pigpen, V M appreciated. Will have a look shortly, wish me luck, I'm hoping If I get stuck, YouTube can lend a hand! I hope your HV was helpful, mine is worse than pants, she is utterly useless!
Oooh dizzy imp, sounds like You've got your work cut out. Just hung up Wash load 3. Wish I had s tumble dryer! House is covered in washing, shhhh don't tell OH, might just flick the heating on for a bit.....
Yaaaaay have finally managed to sort funding for my OU, finished registration, just in the nick of time!
Right Littlies ensconced in front of the TV, will do DW and a bit of tidying, hang wash load 4 and do tray bake.0 -

Not done a lot here today. Beds moved, GRRR, money sorted, some junk thrown away I managed to convince mil CSs don't want broken picture frames especially with missing glass or dirty grease encrusted 30+ year old food mixers with one beater missing, they have been wrapped bagged and binned. With that work and hair appt it feels like the day has gone I've S&sed the kitchen and done a little bit of stitching. Dh abscess is back so rung and made him a dentist appt, tried to just get him a prescription but receptionist wasn't having any of it. I said infection must be clear or the extraction will be called off so she's given me an appt for next week.
DD3 has just rung and invited us out for dinner. I accepted
Just need to nip shops then feed the boys they can amuse themselves with games or DVDs tonight.
Hugs and coping vibes to all who need themSPC~12 ot 124
