I have actually managed something off the Official List - for once:
Level One
Spend half an hour doing something for yourself! Coffee with a friend, hair appointment... whatever
Cue half an hour playing with Ben Labrador in the back garden.:T He arrived a little after 09:00 this morning, and is staying til Tuesday morning, and he is absolutely gorgeous! He's one of those gigantic Labs with a tail like a cosh. I've been advised that because he's so very strong, it'd be best to do like I do with Bailey & Cassie - exercise him in the garden during the day, then get Mr LW to come with me for an off-the-premises walk this evening.:o Ben has a tennis ball in among his possessions, so I got the racket out and we had a grand time with him belting round like a mad thing!:D
Of course I'm now well behind with everything else, and feeling a bit overwhelmed and not sure where to start.
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -
I've sussed it, I'm going to log in at work, I don't have time at home. I need my flying Mojo back!! But of course work it round being at work full time plus. The new house is a pit, it's not sorted, I have over 20 boxes to unpack still and we moved last October. It's not funny big or clever
I've only cooked about a dozen meals in the house from scratch since we moved too, not enjoying it at all
Hope you're all well
I know I catch up with some on Facebook, some who've followed the story including DS1 managing to do some GCSEs and getting 5 Csbut it's not the same as here xx
One day I might be more organised...........

Lil_me wonderful news on DS1's GCSEs but makes me feel so old that he was old enough to take them.

Mumto5 funny I had a good online chat with someone special too.The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
Lil_me.. welcome home!! And I know I said it before but I am so delighted for DS1 he must have tried so incredibly hard and did very very well.. you do right to be proud as does he!
Shopping.. I am dead.. I HATE HATE HATE shopping!!!! REALLY hate it!! in the end I bought.. a dress for me, shoes for DD1, slap for DS3 and 3 onesies for Squeak!.. and lunch.. I spent about £25 .. DS3 who we had gone shopping for bought NOTHING.. he had a hypo in the middle of Primark while DD2 was in full shopping mode and she bately noticed so we had an emergency foodstop! He then felt ill so moped around and refused to even look at anything.. we did get a splendid pic though..
That black dress was very snug.. and stuck on top of her boobs, we then couldn't get her out as she was utterly stuck.. we had a good laugh about it!

Evening all :hello:
CY - glad you had a reasonable day today. Just curious - who are you reading ??
MMM - good luck with the degree. Mine was officially an Interdisciplinary Science degree but, as it was modular, I chose mainly environmental sciences. I loved it !!
LW - Len sounds lovely but don't overdo things eh
lil_me - hope you manage to slowly get yourself and the house sorted. Must be difficult if you're working FT at the same time
pigpen - lovely photos. Looks like they were enjoying themselves
I managed to get everything finished today and we had a baked pasta Bolognese and salad, with garlic bread for dinner, and a small portion left for lunch the morrow. Kitchen tidied and WUDUPA so it's clear for the morning.
Must go shopping over the weekend for some fresh f & v. DS has sent me a little list of things he wants me to take over when I go visit him so will get those as well. I also have to pick up some shorts I ordered on 'click and collect' as they didn't have them in store last week.
(hugs), sticks and spoons for anyone needing some
Hope you all have a super weekend

Hi all
Made dinner
Hoovered upstairs and down
Tidied the LR and Scullery
Washed the bath mats
Run out to get the washing off the line as the rain came on
TD said washing
Made DDs bed up
Scoffed my dinner and run out to work
I asked OH to make our bed and wash up. I've just got home and is either done, nope!
I'm 11-8 tomorrow so I doubt I will get much/anything done.
