Couple of hundred a month  I wished
I totally agree about the kids though I spoke to them about it and they have agreed to give a little more (not without discussion though)
They have had it far too easy.
To be honest it is my own fault. The older one had the audacity to say "haven't I got any deodorant" :rotfl: I nearly fell on the floor after explaining that it doesn't work like that. They think the more they pay the more they get.
Just goes to show how ive done too much for them and not realised.

They are 27 and 23. Both courting but no sign of them setting up on their own yet
When I say it like that it makes me feel guilty. I need to toughen up a bit

I don't think you've done anything wrong. I left home at 16 because the home environment wasn't happy. I felt I would go mad If I stayed. So don't feel bad that your children are still happily with you. That's a good mum not a bad one.
But you do need to think of yourself now with the finances. Maybe have a think today about the ways you could potentially toughen up on them. And then decide which ones you can see yourself doing comfortably. Debt free is a journey and it's bound to raise issues you feel uncomfortable with. Your doing great overall" Your vibe attracts your tribe":D

Thanks Bob
I will definitely be thinking of ways to toughen up on them you are right. I don't think I have actually done them any favours by being the way I have with them.
However there are going to be big changes in this house hold and anyone who lives in it can change with me

I am still waiting for my CC statements to come in. Ive never been so impatient for a bill to come :rotfl:
I just need to get my snowball rolling. I feel like I am stuck. Its only because I have been squirrelling money away and am ready and raring to go. I just want to make my first payments and then I will feel like I am really debt busting
I just hope this motivation keeps up.
I actually did my shopping this week and paid using my budget money. Many other times I have bought far too much and thought oh well I'll put it on the CC and then pay it off. (never paid it off)
I only bought what I needed and felt quite proud of myself.
I intend to do the same again this week.
My emergency fund is growing I honestly don't know how I've accumulated this much. Purely from rounding down accounts :T
Ive actually got money in my accounts  maybe I forgot to pay something :rotfl:SP 9#531=£620/SP 10 # 531=?PDBX 2016 #2 = £16,766.67/£12,000
