    Quick update

I have just juggled cards around and have managed to transfer 3 smaller ones onto a 0% which I have been hoping to get a deal on. Albeit I would have liked a longer deal but looking at the interest I will save its better in the long run. I will be closing them as soon as transfer has completed. :)

I have also paid up my daughters next account which I conveniently forget that I order from ;) (not any more) another one bites the dust :D

I will have to do a new snowball but the amount I had planned to pay on my original snowball still stands, so this will enable me to pay higher amounts on less cards if that makes sense.

    Sorry for the confusion folks

You have done a good thing getting the 3 onto a 0% even if it is a short deal it's a stepping stone. Think of the interest you'll save over 12 months :T

I was actually scared lol its a shame I wasnt that scared when I was shopping with them :rotfl:

Anyway, I feel a little better knowing that I will have 3 showing zero balances.

I will continue with the snowball and as time goes on and balances go down :) I will hopefully move remainders around and also get them on to 0% that Way. I will still pay overpayments on them and one day, just one day I will be DEBT FREE :T

    Hi astispumanti and welcome aboard

I hope I dont bore you too much with my ramblings. Often sound like I am talking to myself :)

The rounding down is a good idea. I pinched the idea from someone else :rotfl:
I managed to find a whopping £1.38 today but its better than nothing eh.

Had a good day at work and feel so much better today. Positive, Positive ,Positive Thats what I need to be.

Hope you get on well with your rounding down. I have accumulated a little doing this. Its money that I would have probably ignored.

Weather is rubbish again but am snuggled on the settee reading lots of ideas and tips on here.

It helps to keep me motivated.

    Good luck all

Great to hear you have been able to move 3 smaller ones onto 0%, it all adds up, and somehow it seems easier to mange when you don't have little bits all over the place, at least that's how it works for me :-)

    Well just an update

The CCs that I transferred to 0% are now showing as zero :) Although I have moved the balances rather than cleared them I have done a new snowball and am tackling less cards and saving on interest in the long run.

I will still be paying the planned payments and it shows the same amount of payments till I will be debt free :T I have got rid of the smaller ones so I have less to worry about.

This snowball actually starts in October now so I will in theory be a month ahead of my plan :j

A good day today. Tomorrow being Friday I can then continue to work on my weekly budget and plan to stick to it like glue.

I have been rounding down accounts again and so far have around £50 in my emergency fund :j I've never had a fund let alone an emergency one :rotfl:

A little extra came from me transferring money here and there to stop OH from spending willy nilly.

It just goes to show how much we waste without realising.

Will be reading on here more tonight and stealing some more wonderful tips and ideas.

    This debt busting is addictive.

    Good luck all

Yippee my emergency fund now has £80.10p :j To be honest I don't even know how ive managed to accumulate that much. Watching every penny really does help AND sticking to my weekly budget.

Budget done for this week. I just have to do my shopping and keep within it I will try soooo hard. :)

I am even in front with my TV licence :j Got caught about 15 years ago and vowed never to do that again. I pay the same every week and it ends up in credit.

Have to keep on with this debt busting it feels good be in control.

    Have a good day all
