Everybody gets the math wrong at some point. I know I did last year and was annoyed at having to restate my outstanding mortgage. The thing to focus on is how much less you owe now compared to when you started.Mortgage at 01.01.14 £119,481.83:eek: today £0 Emergency fund £5.5/5.5k & £200/200 cash.:jWeight 24/02/19 14st 7lb now 11st 12lb determined to stop defining myself by my mistakes. It'll only kill you if you keep beating yourself up over stuff that really doesn't matter.Mortgage at 01.01.14 £119,481.83:eek: today £0 Emergency fund £5.5/5.5k & £200/200 cash.:jWeight 24/02/19 14st 7lb now 11st 12lb determined to stop defining myself by my mistakes. Pay day today :T
Managed to also add some to my EF.
I have also been thinking about putting a little aside every week/month for fun things. Taking a leaf out of Popstess' book. Also Sourcrates said you need to live as well, not just exist.
I feel a little selfish though and feel like I shouldnt but Golly do OH and I need some 'us time' even once a month just a cinema trip or a meal out.
It wont be a lot because at the moment it seems like all of our spare cash goes to the damn CCs. (doesnt seem like, it does) I know I know We got into this mess and we need to get out of it.
Maybe I will budget for it and see how it goes.
We are lucky so far that we manage to service all bills etc and debt repayments, even having some to overpay on the snowball, so that's a huge bonus.
I keep telling myself that once this is all over in approx 30 something months time I will feel like I've won the lottery :rotfl:
Well my free money hasn't appeared on my CCs. Not sure how this will work. The lady at BC said I would get money credited to my account but will they just put my accounts in credit :think:SP 9#531=£620/SP 10 # 531=?PDBX 2016 #2 = £16,766.67/£12,000
