  • :hello: Hi all

Pouring with rain again today :(

I won £13 on the Thunderball :j I win more on this than the main Lotto. I will put some of this in to my sealed pot.

My Lottery ticket that has just come out of the washing machine apparently isn't a winner

Have been pricing up car insurance and so far haven't managed to get it down at all yet :( Will keep looking.

I also aim to hunt the house for something appropriate to keep my weekly money in. I intend to put 3 lots of money in there for OH, food essentials and me. (I'd like to bet that OHs doesn't last long in his one)

This will be for the week ahead so as no little withdrawals from the account.

Dog is fussing for his walk and doesn't care that its raining. Well who knows I may find some more hidden money ;)

  • Have organised money for the week. Had to settle for plastic pots with lids. But they will do the same job (I hope)

Just had an email about my online shop. I requested a refund as the crisps I bought only had 1 day of life left on them.

Anyway I have £4.50p winging its way back to my account :T Thats more than they cost but I'm not complaining.

Managed to make another small payment to CC :D

Hope everyone had a good weekend even though it has flown by

Yay to extra CC payments, refunds, lottery wins and a £5 in your pocket:T It's all sounding good :D

    Hello diary world

Have not posted for a few days as not too much good news to spread at the moment.

OH being a complete Twonk (I learned this word from upsidedown Bear) again  Just when I thought things were looking up. Drinking and thinking he is keeping it secret :rotfl: Haven't got time for a grown up child I'm afraid.

He seems to think that the whole world owes him something. I am left to deal with the whole shabang GRRRRRRRRRRRR

Our plan to keep money in the cupboard for the week started OK until OH decided to draw out the bank  The money is still in the cupboard but that's not the point (counts to 10 and breathe)

Sorry rant over. I have however managed to sort out my weekly budget and have made an extra payment to CC again.

These small payments I have been making are making a difference. The total is coming down and that is the aim.

Hope everyone is having a better time than I am at the moment :(

  • Hello :hello:

Sorry to hear OH is being a Twonk again :( Don't know what to suggest but sending a hug smileys-hugs-765537.gif
You might know about Al-Anon but if not this is their website:

Well done on making another CC payment :)
  • Ahhh Thanks for my hug Bear :A

He goes to a weekly alcohol place now and was doing so well. I cant cope with the little setbacks (as he calls them)
He is not physically addicted to it so he is choosing to drink. That seem worse in my eyes

Anyway I refuse to let it bring me down at the moment. I aim to carry on debt busting with or without him.

I have my little stashes of money ready for my snowball payments and my extra CC payments etc so onwards and upwards :T

  • Hey 12 month,

Well done on paying the extra payment on your CC! That's fab. Those little extra payments arelike buying debt free days in the future!!

Sorry to hear about your OH, that must be difficult. As you say, I know it's not the point but is it worth putting the cash back into the bank from one of your pots?

Keep your chin up though, you're doing great!

Thank you all for your replies and support :A

A better day today in the 12 month household. OH has sat very quietly with his tail between his legs drinking diet coke. Just goes to show he knows he is in the wrong.

On a more positive note my weekly budget is sorted. Weekly bills paid. A little added to my sealed pot. Money in the cupboard for the week ahead. Grocery money is ready for the shopping tomorrow. (couldn't face going tonight)

Payday for me in 10 days time and I am actually ahead with the money in my snowball account :D CC statements will be due in around 10 days time also so I am on track to bring my total down again :T

Lots of housework to tackle again tomorrow and beds to change  Will keep positive and ensure I have a stress free weekend :)

Sending you all vibes for a stress free weekend also :A
