Morning everyone and a very chilli one it is too
Well I have been onto BC and transferred £106 free money to my bank account :T
I have closed one account, card cut up and in the bin
Now, as for the second account apparently they cannot close at the moment due to it having a positive balance. (bit funny that as I just closed the other one that also had a positive balance)
System will not allow at this time
This card has a very high limit and I feel they do not want to lose me as a customer so are using tactics to keep me (sneaky)
They constantly ask "can I ask the reason you want to close"
Errm yes I am thousands of pounds in debt. Is that reason enough lady :rotfl:
Need to tackle housework today and my windows look like a foggy day in London
Im off to see if I can get some more free moneySP 9#531=£620/SP 10 # 531=?PDBX 2016 #2 = £16,766.67/£12,000

Hi 12 month. I've just read your diary from start to finish and didn't want to read and run. I'm just starting my debt free journey and your diary has really helped me to see there's light at the end of the tunnel if i just keep going. Also - I get impatient waitin for my statements so I can pay them too!
Keep going, you're doing fabulously

Hi Sammyanne
It has taken me a while to realise that I can do this and so will you.
I have put all my CCs into a snowball and am working with that. So far its helping as I am targeting the biggest one first which is on 6.9% Not too hefty but still interest.
I am chucking all of my spare cash at it even adding the odd £20 payments during the month. This is bringing it down also. I aim to have a lot of it cleared by Xmas (fingers crossed)
Are you keeping a diary. Most times I just waffle on but it helps.
Good luck on your journey too.SP 9#531=£620/SP 10 # 531=?PDBX 2016 #2 = £16,766.67/£12,000

:hello: Hey Pops
I have so many things I [STRIKE]need[/STRIKE] should to do with it.
My DD has birthday soon so some of it would do that. I may even treat OH to lunch out of it. (if he behaves)
Glad you are finding ways to suit you on how to pay off your total.

Evening all
Had a message from one CC today offering a new rate for transfers  As if I haven't cocked it all up enough :rotfl:
Will be ignoring that one for the time being
Anyway Myself and OH went swimming today. I forgot how much I love it. Will be going a lot more now. We both need the exercise. I have also managed to stick to my healthy eating plan for a whole day:j
(mind you its not over yet)
We only spent £4.20 as OH gets free usage of all facilities courtesy of the alcohol support place. On that note he has been fine and I hope and pray he sticks with it.
It was actually nice to do something together for a change. I'm off work this week so best make the most of it
I have my target CC statement due tomorrow but it doesnt usually update until the evening. I will be waiting patiently for that. Not that I do patience because I don't.
I hope everyone is well and haven't frozen to death. My its chilliSP 9#531=£620/SP 10 # 531=?PDBX 2016 #2 = £16,766.67/£12,000

:j Yay another monthly CC paid tonight. Have been waiting all day for my statement to generate just so I can pay it. This is my target card that I overpay quite a bit on.
BC must think "hang on lady, give us a chance" :rotfl:
It really helps that I squirrel money away into my snowball account throughout the month, so when the statements come in I am ready to pay them straight away. I also add little payments when I can to it also. This is going to be my super challenge
The snowball is working well so far for me
My free money from BC also hit my bank account today :beer:SP 9#531=£620/SP 10 # 531=?PDBX 2016 #2 = £16,766.67/£12,000

Well done you! I saw you declaring your payment on the Pay it all off by xmas challenge. Was very pleased for you indeed. I managed another £25 today myself. I'm determined to find the £70 to hit £2k by the end of the month.
All the best

Thank you. I feel the same. The challenges are ace and motivating. I can't belive I've cleared £530 in 2 months since xmas. On my tiny income.
