:j:j Monthly payment made to target CC today:j:j
Totally sticking to my snowball payments. This is the first CC I am targeting to pay off first and where my overpayments are going.
The others will start to come in within the next 2 weeks. Bring it on. :T
I am finding that having my snowball account as I call it is very helpful. As soon as the statement arrives I have the funds ready and I pay my planned payment according to my snowball. Therefore giving me another whole month to get my payments ready for next month. I know how much I need and roughly when I need it.
Please let this positivity and organisation continue.
Keep going all

Look at it this way - when you get to your DFW target date, you will have cut down extra spending and hopefully it'll be a habit then. Once you have no debt, you can then start chucking money at pension or savings.:cool:0 -

Hiya 12month :hello:
Woohoo pay day!!!! :j mine too feels like it's taken FORVEVER to get here!!!
how much is your budget for your weekly shop? Mines £50 hoping I can stay below this week though because I've got a few bits and bobs from last weeks shop left and I have quite a few frozen meals (I've been cooking a meal for 4 and freezing the left overs 2 or three portions at a time)
Good luck this month a fresh new debt busting month lets smash it!!!!! :money::beer::D:T0 -
Hi Pops
Yay payday although I hate getting paid early because I like to know that my direct debits are paid. my bank must think 'hang on a minute shes got too much money' :rotfl::rotfl:
Come Monday it will be back to normal and penny pinching
At least bills will be paid.
Anyway I try to budget £50 a week for shopping. I saw a discount for Morrisons delivery spend £50 get £10 off. I thought I will have some of that. What a surprise, EXPIRED
So plan B will be to take a shopping list to aldi,Lidl or asda tomorrow and stick to it like glue.
Hows it going at your end?

I've just put quite a long update on my thread so won't bore you by repeating it all on here. But feeling a bit more in control.
Haha I know what you mean about the bank this is the first time my pay has gone on and I actually have cash in the bank usually my overdraft swallows it up like a black hole!
I've never been one to meal plan but sinse I've started debt busting I've got serious with it and I'm loving it.
How are you doing with Christmas? I've bought the odd bits and bobs but I'm trying to streamline it major this year!0 -
To be honest my 2 are grown now but are still at home. I tend to feel guilty if I dont spend alot on them and they dont have quite a few prezzies. . Maybe I still think like when they were young.
I dont have any family to buy for so really its just us. Stopped buying for nieces, nephews etc once they grew up as it just gets silly, money wise I mean.
I have already got mother in law a gift card and my nephews son a gift card also. DDs BF and sons GF will only have something smallish.
Which leaves my DD and DS and OH.
I am not really one for Xmas I get miserable and moody. OH says whats new :rotfl:SP 9#531=£620/SP 10 # 531=?PDBX 2016 #2 = £16,766.67/£12,000
