Hi pops
I have been doing 'mysurvey' but it seems now that every survey I go in to kicks me out after about 3 questions. The survey is now full etc etc.
Getting fed up of it already :rotfl:
Hope you are still positive and staying focussed.
haven't done much reading on here tonight as I have only just settled down with the downstairs all to myself. Everyone else has retreated upstairs so I can read in peace

Thanks, I'm finding that a lot with the surveys too!
I just wish it wouldn't take so long to pay off and I wish I could find a way to bring in some substantial money to put towards paying off my debt. But I guess I've got to be patient.
Enjoy your peace and quiet and reading.0 -
Glad to hear you are feeling better today..it's a bit like that on this roller coaster isn't it. Enjoy your quiet evening." Your vibe attracts your tribe":D

I agree about being impatient. I am at times too. Just constantly kicking myself about getting into this mess,
But many people on here have also been in the same boat and have managed to come out the other side smiling
I keep thinking along the lines of - If I hadn't woken up and smelt the coffee I would have just carried on spending on CCs and then shifting it about and so on and so on.
At least we have found our way here and decided enough is enough now. Its our time to come out the end of the tunnel one day, however long that tunnel is. :T
 I have been thinking about my snowball payments this month and thought that if I can get away with paying my payments just over the minimums and using the extra that I usually pay on them for Christmas. Therefore not using CCs at all.
I have a feeling that I will feel guilty if I do this.
So many thoughts about it all going round in my head.
It will add another couple of months on the end of my journey but it was just a thought.
Is this a silly idea?SP 9#531=£620/SP 10 # 531=?PDBX 2016 #2 = £16,766.67/£12,000

Oh my gosh I have genuinely been thinking the exact same thing!!! I am planning not to over pay any cards (just minimum payments) in nov or December and use it for Xmas like you say rather than putting it on cc's or bnpl like I usually do. If there is anytime left over after Xmas that can always go towards an over payment?0 -
Great minds think alike eh
Surely thats got to be the better way of doing it I would have thought.
Scenario = bills paid, CC payments made (even if its only just over), Christmas sorted, stress levels lowered.
New year, new start, resume all extra debt payments. No extra added to CCs and everyone's happy.
Debt busting continues with a vengeance :T

I also get paid this week and am hoping that my extra money that's due will come in. Its not too much but it will definitely help.SP 9#531=£620/SP 10 # 531=?PDBX 2016 #2 = £16,766.67/£12,000

I like the sound of that plan lets do it!!!!
Put it this way it's much better than previous years where I've stressed out, used cc's and by now pay later very then buried my head in the sand about how much I owe!0 -
Me also with previous years. I would start to panic as Xmas drew nearer, shop on line, shop in the town also, buy things for the sake of it, pay with CCs and convince myself I would start to repay it all once Xmas was out the way. This never happened, obviously.
All this for one day as well. It really isn't worth it.
People at work call me Humbug around this time of year. I think its because of the reasons I just mentioned. I would be thinking Oh my, now what. I'm left with more CC debt  Maybe that's why I am usually miserable around this time of year.
This is the last year I will be like this thats for sure. Even if I put a tiny amount in a Xmas fund for next year. I will still certainly be around here but with a lot less debt to pay. 2016 is going to be the year I kick my debts a**e :T (well make a big hole in it at least)SP 9#531=£620/SP 10 # 531=?PDBX 2016 #2 = £16,766.67/£12,000
