Spent £32.09 at the SM and £6.14 at the local butcher yesterday, and will need to spend a bit today on lunch things for the children's pack ups (back to school tomorrow), but hopefully nothing major until the weekend. I'm doing a food stocktake and meal plans today - we have seriously overspent on food the last few months, and I need to reduce this by a lot! I'm back at uni towards the end of the month, so am planning some batch cooking for long days and CBA days later in the autumn.

This morning I've been to Iceland & Lidl for a few bits, spent £7.87. And I've just realised that mid to end of September we are having a new kitchen fitted which means no cooking apart from the microwave, so I expect my meal plan for the month and possibly my budget will go out the window ....***Dont save what is left after spending, spend what is left after saving***0

Second NSD for me - I'm eeking out what's in the freezer and cupboards this week as bought loads of food over the summer, freezing some down for use later. Making good use of the internet for recipe ideas as I don't want to resort to and rely on the same meals over and over again.0

Was hoping for two NSDs but had to nip out for a few bits today after work, only came to £4.39 so going ok so far. Haven't made a meal plan for the month as I've never been able to stick with it but thinking of trying weekly planning instead as it sounds more flexible.0

Went to A1di this morning and spent £32.87 only thing I forgot was flour but we do have some in so will leave it till next week.
Really cold here tonight and some heavy showers.MARCH £62.38/2500 -
Two NSDs so far for me. There's no shops near me, I can't drive, public transport is a bit rubbish and would take me so long to get anywhere I really can't be bothered, and DH has gone off on holiday until Monday so I'm also pretty much guaranteed to not spend anything until Tuesday.0
