Afternoon, today I've been to Asada & Iceland and spent £35.88, Farmfoods tomorrow.***Dont save what is left after spending, spend what is left after saving***0
-
Asda delivery just arrived - £48.85 spent but I'm hoping that's all that is needed until next weekend. We have a day out tomorrow, so likely will end up with a takeaway, but this has to come out of the GC budget, so I'll be holding DH's reins, to make sure we don't cop the entire bill for everyone. He so loves being generous, but it's part of the reason we are in debt!0

Ive rethought it all and decided I should aim for £80 as I need to start putting money aside for car expenses. ...sorry to swap!
No spend day for me though as hoping to do a big food shop tomorrow as today I'd have to take children and that would increase the cost!
So £80/£800 -
another 59p for me
YS Bread ( tomorrow mornings toast ) and Tuna Sandwich Filler - which will fill my YS Jacket potato brought yesterday.
Good week for me! to be honest if its got a YS on it ...It's my supper
Will be a spendy weekend as plus one is here ..and he eats like a horse ...one of those great big cart horse style ones ...;)
Total September spends £5.11p s far ...
Need to try to meal plan for the Weekend...Grocery challenge Feb £107/£100-epic fail due to cake and biscuits

Helloooo!!! Been so long since I was last online, however I'm back to try and tighten the reins on the run up to christmas. My monthly spends have been slowly creeping up each month and its obvious it is because I'm not keeping track of how much I'm actually spending.
So, hope you lovely bunch don't mind me joining in once again! I'm also doing SW so trying to eat healthy on a budget. I'm gonna aim for £400 for 5 of us. My sons birthday is this month so thats also to include birthday cakes/treats along with usual grocerys, household stuff and takeaways (hopefully none).
I'm gonna start the £400 from tomorrow, so fresh start. Haven't done a big shop or anything this month but will meal plan and aim for as many NSDs as possible.
Hope everyone is well, old and new!

Hi all! Sorry I've not been on for a few days. We had to get some milk and cereal for DH earlier in the week, then today we did a big stock up shop in Mr Ts. We're at:
FOOD - £43.79 / £120
TOILETRIES/HOUSEHOLD - ££7.60 / £15
CAT - £8.10 / £15
A bit over where I'd like to be, but I think I can now get away with small L*dls shops the rest of the month. I'm comfortable with today's spend as it was pretty much all needed and will last more than this week e.g. Got a gammon joint to cook and slice up for the freezer, which will do DH's lunches all month, got 2kg of red lentils, got a few tins of chopped tomatoes. DH was with me but was quite restrained with snacks and rubbishjust a value bar of white chocolate, a couple of big bags of crisps (one was value tortilla chips too) and some water biscuits. I can live with that lol.

Hi
I'm doing this weekly and I'm not sure if it was a good idea as I spent this week's budget today! Although I got enough for two weeks meals. Idea being that I will freeze some meals as its back to uni/school next week and I think I will appreciate easy slow cooker type meals.
So £80/£78-28...
I had been doing online grocery shopping but went to Ald#s...So much cheaper! I got loads
So £1-78 until Thursdays New budget.0
