I've not been flying so much this week as it turned out. I think I managed to vacuum the lounge and sweep the hallway but that's about it since Wednesday! Come dine with me is going well - final night tomorrow. It is creating a LOT of mess but I think it's been worth it! I will try and join you all again next week! Have a great weekend everyone!

I've downloaded some HP freeware to try and use some of my doggy photos to make greetings cards. It's going to be "interesting" learning to use it!

First up is an anniversary card for Mr LW; no pressure, our anniversary is 13th September.:rotfl:

Night night all, gotta sign off now, Mr LW will be in shortly so I best go and start dins.;)

I have decided I do NOT like clothkits kits.. they are so incredibly faffy, I have a pile of patterns which I love I just find these instructions very confusing to follow.. I like to prep all the bits them put them together these have them doing 1 bit at a time.. :/

Evening flyladies, I've not had a chance to catch up so hope you're all ok.

I'm reasonably pleased with the flying I have achieved this week, so I'm hoping now the weather stays good so I can do gardening mostly all weekend.

    Catch you all tomorrow.

    Hello all

errand this am; lots of to-ing and fro-ing with the Vallikids to and from jobs; work this after - planning for next term.

Have stripped DS's bed, am about to strip mine, DD did hers. Did washing.

Cleaned DR last might. Have made mess in DR ransacking 'heap' for missing planning file. Found missing planning file. *sigh*

Quick check in to see whats left on the lists. I've "deep cleaned" the kitchen except for inside the cupboards and the top of the cupboards. I even pulled the TD out and vaccumed it all out then scrubbed the floor underneath it. It was filthy :o DD is just cleaning the brass but has flown upstairs solo. The dog has spent the day sulking.

List is now a case of if its gone its done. ;)

Had a lovely day out with DH today at another NT property. We walked round the (small) estate, beautiful gardens and very interesting Tudor house. DH paid for lunch ;) and I bought some excellent books for the DGC at very reduced prices :money: which I will ask the man in red to deliver :santa2:

Not much else has been achieved today, apart from a few little bits of computer work.

Very pleased to hear that you enjoyed your lunch, CY :T
"Phew!" to the file, Valli
Not surprised your dog has been sulking while you've been doing all that flying, nicki :o
I can't imagine you as a one-armed bandit, LW :rotfl:

Lottie on her last trip to Rainbow Bridge... gentle passing wishes for her and hugs for my spiky mother much appreciated!

By way of massive coincidence.. the man who had offered his dog to give Lottie a blood transfusion, who my mother has known a long time randomly mentioned where he had once worked.. He actually worked with my uncle who died a few years ago and had some fabulous memories of him.. It was almost as if he was sending my mother a message saying 'I will be there for Lottie' .. crazy that it would happen now, after all this time!
