Sad to hear of Lottie's passing, but pleased it was peaceful.

Sod it - I'm sending Pigpen hugs. Sounds like she needs them. (And she wouldn't get sarky with the sick person would she?)

Up and reading today. Done not much else, but haven't felt like it. Today is usually the worst day, so I'm just pleased it is almost over.

DS and DH back from cricket before 5pm. Says it all really!

Despite being a huge fan of crime novels I doubt I'd make a good assassin, sorry.

Pigpen its not just you. Everyone here treats me like a flippin servant and have to be reminded at times that I am actually a human being too and a thank you doesnt go amiss now and again sigh.

Need to get some food shopping today, we have hardly anything in the fridge. At a family bbq later so should really make something to take. Other than that I am going to try and have a day off, I spent most of yesterday cleaning.

Have a good Sunday everyone x
  • I am the same - or at least I was before I got ill. These days people are happy to fetch and carry for me - cups of tea, meals etc, but they don't see the state of the house....

    Morning all :D

Yesterday DD helped me bring a big and heavy shop home from Mr A before she went off for the weekend with her dad. We also got the washing done, she started and I finished the ironing as well! :D So I had a leisurely bath and chilled for the rest of the day once they were done.

Today I was awake at 6am and out the door by 7am! I took the dog for a long walk, taking advantage of DD not being her to moan and it being Sunday morning so the roads are quieter. We walked all the way to Albert Dock and back which is just under 7 miles. :D He loved it, except for the statues which he kept woofing at :rotfl: I got home, checked my email and discovered that a book I pre-ordered for DD months ago from Am**on is out for dispatch! Its not supposed to be here until Wednesday so the rest of my plans for today (which involved going out) will have to wait until thats arrived.

Only things left on the list for me is cleaning the kitchen sink (need to wash up first), and baking cakes. But after the walk this morning my feet are not up to standing in the kitchen so I'm going to catch up with some online things instead which I can do from the comfort of the sofa while the dog sleeps. :)

Afternoon all, where did the morning go?

Piggers, hope today is better for you and Frizzle, hope you have fun with the family today.

So far today has gone as planned, bit of a lie in (not much mind), dailies done, lovely walk with the dogs in the sunshine and a couple of hours already spent out in the garden.

Just having an early lunch, will have a read of the paper (which I'm in, haha!) and then get cracking with the garden again.

Hope everyone is also enjoying their day.
Spend less now, work less later.
