Hope Lottie goes peacefully; hugs with gloves on for your mum, Piggers.

Been to town. Got charm thing from hospice shop (they sell new stuff) for the bride, tights and confetti. Bought spuds and carrots; scrounged loads of greens (cabbage trimmings) for bunnies, there were whole caulis and cabbage. DD was with me...gleaned a head of broccoli though! sshhh;) might have a whole cabbage, too;)

Something I rescued from a skip has sold on fleabay for £35 WOOTY WOOTY WOOT WOOT WITH BELLS AND WHISTLES. Now in the post!

    Absolutely brilliant!

So, today's job was tidying all the leftover bits and pieces from the stuff I did this week. 15 mins worth, tops. Max. Absolute dead cert.

    Bedroom. Check.
    Office. Check.
    Kitchen. Check
Landing. Oh, okay, I'll just run up the first set of covers for those cushions. Dining room next, so it's clear before I start sewing.
    • Down to the fabric shop for fabric. Check.
    • Find fabric scissors and ruler to make sure the edges are straight. Oh, okay, it must be in the attic in one of the fabric boxes; I'll just pop up there and find them.
    • Oh, okay, while I'm up here I'll get that box of bowls down so OH can choose which ones he wants to keep and the rest can go. Check.
    • Oh, okay, I'll shift those boxes out of the way to get to the fabric boxes ...
    • Oh, okay, I'll just go through that box of paperwork and see what I can get rid of ...
    • Oh, okay, so I need the recycling bag ...
    • THERE are that pair of those Not Your Daughter Jeans I bought on Ebay that were a size too small and NOW FIT ...
    • Oh, okay, that can go to the scrap store, and there are those bits of that thing I took to the scrap store last week AT LAST, so they can go too ...
    • THERE it is! I was looking for that draught excluder all last winter ...
    • Five more boxes emptied and restacked at the other end of the attic.
    • Now all I have to do is get the recycling bag, the scrap store box and six boxes of fabric stuff down the loft ladder. On my own, because OH is watching his team play far, far away ...
    • Oh, okay, doggo, so you need a walk ...
    • And a feed, okay ...
    • Ruler and fabric scissors found. Check.
No sewing done, dining room still a tip, and I need a bath.
    Better is good enough.

lol Honey bear - that's just SO funny!

    I have

polished 4 pairs of shoes - work shoes for the Vallikids because DS has to wear his for the wedding (as they're the only black ones he owns) and I had the black polish out anyway and my gorgeous, strappy, sale-bargain RAVEL shoes which are the right colour (black) and very very dressy so wedding-appropriate. And DS's golf shoes in case they go golfing. Bag hauled out of shed ready too. DS found his golf glove.
Sister who is not the mother-of-the-bride has suggested a meal out tonight. And SHE hasn't got any hairspray and can I sort her some out?

Home rugby team lost spectacularly at Wembley.. but they got there which is wonderful!
washing out.. need to redress the cot
    OH and children fed.

Strop bandied around a bit.. I am so sick of everyone calling me names, no one ever says anything nice.. and today I bubbled over! I do everything for everyone is a 'thank you' too much to ask? I am considering just disappearing for a week, see how they get on without me!! They might appreciate me when I got back.. unlikely, but might. Why is it always me? Why is it not them being sphincters sometimes? Surely I'm not that horrible it's always me!?

ty Kaz... I'm not much use even for company at the moment, I'm more of a 'stuff me in a cupboard and forget I exist for a week' case I think.. though I don't eat much so cheap to keep lol.

£50 in ebeast sales up to now.. must get winter coats out and listed next week.. they will shift in preparation for cold days.
