    Morning all :hello:
I was 'chucked' off the site yesterday as it suddenly said - 'Site shut for maintenance' at 10.30. I read an extra chapter of my book :D

CY - sorry you had a poor day with chemo but great to hear that you enjoyed your lunch and now feeling a bit brighter

LW - reminds me of when I broke my hand and had little sprogs. It's surprising how ingenious you become to do things eh ? Hope your wrist now feeling improved

Poohbear - how splendid !! Where are you cruising ??

Rach - your dinner thing sounds fun

Biscuit - enjoy your week off

Pigpen - sounds like you've been busy. Gentle vibes for pooch and it is strange the coincidences life throws at us sometimes.

I did all the floors yesterday as DH was working back-shift - he's still sleeping :)
I have done all the s&s this morning, apart from BR obviously, and just going to de-clutter a cuppa. Think we will go shopping, once DH rises and eats, and might manage to get the ironing done later.

That will mean we have a free day the morrow and might go out somewhere for a change - depending on the weather.

(hugs), sticks and spoons. Hope you all have a super weekend

  • Hi all, I couldnt log on earlier either.

Have hoovered and dusted downstairs, cleaned the kitchen and utility and done a couple of loads of washing. Off upstairs next to do a bit more up there. Everyone else is out, I have got the radio on nice and loud and I am singing along as I wield my duster.

Valli well done on the ebay sale - what a result!

    Woohoo to the sales Valli.

I'm so glad the site is back up and running. Didn't know what to do with myself this morning. However, I had a long walk with the dogs (slowly), went to visit some elderly friends and had tea and cake (at 10am in the morning) and have spent a couple of hours in the garden.

Bowls later and then an evening in with DH.

    Have a great afternoon everyone.

Yay! We're back! It was very odd to not be able to post a list this morning!!

Anyway. We have lots of family over tomorrow. We have never had them here as we always go there. They have more space (and money!!). But as we haves moved to a bigger pad we have bit the bullet! the alcohol shop alone was extortionate! Then we had a butchers shop! Today we popped to tesco for all the extras! I hate to think how much we have spent! It will only have to happen once a year as we can't afford it! so the whole house needs to be tidy and shiny before then. We have bought a bbq as we didn't have one so that will heed to be built as will the patio table! We will also have to use the dining table and the camping table with a tablecloth!

    So list for today/tomorrow-

    wudupa
    Wm x2
    Tidy top floor
    Hoover top floor
    Tidy middle floor
    Hoover middle floor
    Tidy ground floor
    Hoover found floor
    Wipe fining table
    Marinate the meat
Put all tools back into tool box
Put all clothes that don't fit me into a suitcase!
    Tidy up garden
    Plant new plants!
    Build bbq
    Build patio table
    Find the table cloths
Put all books on shelf (I don't hold out much hope of condensing them down!)
    Put up bathroom cabinet
Vac the stairs if it's safe to do so
    HHI
    Make some fresh bread!
    Make the pimms
Prepare food and set everything up!
    Grocery challenge-
    J- 52.40/£200 M- 187.56 A- 212.93 M-193.44 F-201.31 J- 240.62 D- £149.27 N- £210.69 O- 196.80
    S- 213.68 A- £213.03 J- 249.66 J-206.29, M- 252.91, A-£250, M- £250

debt free as of feb 2015. Now saving for deposit for new house! Moving in June 2015!!!

Necessity is the mother of invention! Thanks, the wrist is fine today, I just had to follow the Consultant's advice to get the best result from the injection.:o

£££ decluttered at the Opticians; as I suspected, I need new specs. £35 in vouchers from doing online surveys deferred a part of it though.:money:
Varifocals, Transitions lenses and "blue protect" tint because my eyes are very light sensitive don't come cheap, even sticking to "own brand" frames as opposed to designer frames.

Also done 2 x WM loads - 1st one towels & hankies, 2nd one bedlinen.

And of course Lizzie has had a lovely long walk and been fed.

Mr LW is cleaning the bath lift as I type!:A

Cleaned the car inside and out. Have even cleaned where the spare wheel goes so now I know how to get it out. Will fill up tank, coolant and check tyres later, probably after taking the vallikids to work at 6. Have put a box in boot for the stuff I carry, previous car had a net and straps so nothing moved, this one doesn't.
