Parcel has arrived and I've decided that instead of going out where I'd only spend money I'm going to listen to Christmas music and get my lists sorted for a "holiday plan" I try to follow each year to ensure I'm organised for Christmas. The longest version starts today so now is as good a time as any :D It'll also save my feet which are still hurting :rotfl:
Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.
Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!

Piggers Mr LW always says that "thank you" is a sadly neglected form of compensation; I think he's right.

And on that note I'd like to thank all my Flylady friends for encouragement when I'm feeling grotty (sadly a lot of the time), sharing in my occasional successes, and ... well, just for being my friends.:o

LW You can have a great big thank you in return from me. I know how you struggle with your health at times but you always sound so positive and you dont let it stop you doing stuff. Likewise Bossy who is doing an amazing job of bringing up her kids on her own and Pigpen who is a great Mum to her tribe despite life generally throwing lots of !!!! in her direction. There are many others who deserve a mention but I could be here all day.

This thread doesnt just inspire me to do the ironing or hoover the floor, its waay more important than that.

I think this thread has been 100% responsible for me being able to turn my life around. It's been just over three years and nothing's ever going to be perfect, but the house isn't a tip, I've taken control of the financial side of my life, my tax affairs are in order having been chaotic for ever, I've knocked the boozing on the head, there's half the amount of stuff in the attic that there used to be and what there is, is semi-organised and very, very gradually I'm starting to take a bit of pride in my appearance. None of that would have happened without all the Flyladies past and present, so my thanks to Pigpen yesterday was the tip of a very, very big iceberg. Other threads have contributed and helped enormously, but it is this one that got me started and made everything possible. It's sad that some of the people who made such a huge contribution to the quality of my life don't feel appreciated by their nearest and dearest but I can assure you, you are massively important to me.

Flyladies rock and I am immensely grateful to every single one of you - thank you, thank you, thank you.
    Better is good enough.

I agree wholeheartedly with both these comments :T :T

Are there any Flyladies in the Liverpool area who would like to meet up with me for coffee in the city centre on the morning of Saturday 3rd October? Nicki? Any others? Please PM me if you're able to come.

Took much longer than anticipated as I cleared out three - yes three -junk drawers and put on a large batch if vegetable soup. Autumn here I come!!

I'll agree with that! I have to rely on public transport quite a lot and always say "thank you" when I get off. I've lost count of the amount of passengers that don't though! (And some of them are old enough to know better as well! - Here endeth the mini rant)

And while we're on the subject, I'd also like to say thank you to all the Flyladies out there - I know I don't post very much, but please take it as read that I'm more than grateful for this part of the forum.
