Yesterday didn't go quite according to the flying plan only got as far as sorting out the school stuff so everything now clean, named and ready for next week.
This morning has been productive with bathroom fully cleaned, kitchen clear and sink/drainer/bowl all nice and sparkly. All house dusting done too. Polished all shoes which needed it, tidied bottom of wardrobe and have sorted the carrier bags (all now neatly samosa'd a-la kondo method).
3 loads of washing done and on the line, nice breeze and sunshine at the mo so fingers crossed no rain.
Back later.0 -

CY You have reminded me that DSs cricket bag needs packing away for winter. Last time I had to empty it it was disgusting, sweaty socks, crisp packets, empty drinks bottles as well as grubby jumpers and clumps of dried mud. Yuk.
Just filling in a bit of time before my hair appointment. Quite a bit planned over the next few days but I really should get the hoover out and try and make things a bit more presentable. Might do that tomorrow.0 -
Glad to be of help YL.
mrs-moneypenny thank you for your advice - I remember my late mother-in-law not being able to wash the affected area when she had radiotherapy in the early 90's. In truth I use very little in the way of smellies. Most of what I use in unperfumed. Having had a history of intersticial cystitis 10+ years ago I had got used to no bath products being the rule. The only time it bothered me was Christmas when the girls were enjoying their Lush bathrooms....
I have had a lovely lunch today. DD2 and her OH ate out on a whim last night, which meant she had the ingredients for a stir fry in the fridge. As soon as she knew they were eating out yesterday she texted me offering to cook me lunch today. I am so grateful that I felt well enough to enjoy it. I have spent too many lunchtimes pushing food around my plate.
Hope everyone is having a good day...:jFlylady and proud of it:j0 -
Coffee break to re-energise!
I've just washed the windows inside & out in the kitchen, and deep cleaned the cooker hood. I can't remember the last time I changed the filters so I did that & put a sticker on one with todays dateAlso put up the extra washing line so I could hang more clothing out. Pity its rope stuff that stretches so the washing is getting lower and lower...:rotfl:

I best go hang this wash load out, then finish cleaning the kitchen. I'm going to need to nip to the shop when I put my books out, DD has asked for lasagne for tea which is a rarity so I need to get cheese and I might just grab the white sauce while I'm in the shop to save making it as my list is still so long.
I am not looking forward to all the ironing, but DD needs stuff for tomorrow so unless she volunteers to do it after cleaning the bedrooms and front of the house (she's asked to do this as well) then I'll have to do it.

CY have a very gentle one-armed (((HUG))).LW - be careful. One-handed flying sounds dangerous
It's not as bad as it sounds - f'r instance
Before commencing, place hand not to be used in a sling, to remind you not to use it.;)
Dusting:
Get wheeled trolley.
Place items on surface to be dusted onto trolley, give these once-over with a small paint-brush.
Dust surface.
Replace items.
Fetching in washing:
Place wheeled washing-trolley under part of whirligig.
Pull whirligig round so item to be unpegged is over trolley.
Remove pegs and let gravity do the rest.
Oh, and how do I get the washing out there to start with?..... What are DH's for?:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
You can't do everything, but some things are do-able with care; and by tonight, I'll be able to use both hands again. It's just a precaution, the Consultant advises resting the hand for 24-36 hours while the steroids settle in and start their work.:oIf your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -
Had to stop while my mother was here on one of her rare visits (we don't have the best of relationships and thankfully it was not as traumatic as it usually is, mainly because the boys are here) and we all went into our local CS on the way to waving her off at the bus stop so that took some of the time too (it's only a couple of hours but...).
Resultant CS buys of 4 fab green cushion covers and a new soft mat for the bathroom have been washed and are on the line already.
Have also put all the clean washing away which was in the airing cupboard and the three loads which have dried on the line today are all folded properly and now in there instead. There is a little ironing but that should be OK next week.
Hoovering still to do too but need hubby to help move the furniture so will try to get that done properly over the weekend.
Think that's likely it for today, apart from getting tea ready shortly.
Have a lovely weekend all.0 -
Dentist done
Visit to Mum done
Cake carrier present brought
Uniform labelled

Need to bake cake now and ring sis and then wrap presents, oh and send DS3 to shop for candles.
CY yay another session completed.
Cricket bag for DS3 doesn't really get put away. Indoor league will start mid September. Two more league games yet to play outside. Area trials will be October and winter training from January! The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
I have done tons of things today. I have taken action on everything on my to do list. Just made a hair appointment for colour and cut tomorrow morning.
We are going away on the cruise ship our son works on. He paid for us
As I have managed to do everything I need to for our holiday it is now time to concentrate on meHoping to get nails etc done on Tuesday. It is good that we live in an area of low population as it means I can get last minute appointments.
Tonight I am going to make a batch of twinks for our holiday cottage guests and I know it is late in the day but I will strip our bed tonight and get it all washed and on the line tomorrow. I haven't posted much but I am following the flylady plan, thank you xbusiness mortgage £0))''(+ Barclay's business kitchen loan £0=Total paid off was £96105 PPI claimed and received £13527

Oh PoohBear lucky you, have a great time.
Received form for DS to claim free prescriptions. Filled it in and put it straight back in the post.
Chicken in a jar of sauce in the halogen oven. Yes very lazy and not very MSE I know. But I have peeled spuds and chopped some veg.
Other than that not much done here but I will catch up tomorrow. In fact I just noticed that LW has done far more than me one handed!
I am off to finish getting tea ready.0
