    Bossymoo have a great time.

Did Body Balance this morning, I have progressed from it being impossible to very difficult (my view). I'm just not bendy and my arms are too short. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

Did 1st assessment on new uni contract, went fairly well, lovely room. It certainly took me a bit less time than usual without a parent to ask questions (not that I mind) and not making cups of coffee!

Did final check of Monday's assessment and emailed it.

Picked up windfall greengages, washed them and froze some.

Mr N has painted the en suite.

Not sure if I've done anything else other than remembered to post a letter on my way to gym.

Really hope weather improves for the weekend (carfest); I don't like music festivals in wellies (too old- me not the wellies).

    Have a good weekend everyone.

    Morning all

Sunny here atm but doubt it'll last. Must have been cold overnight though, first lot of condensatio of this 'autumn' - it's only August.

DW and WM both on. We have dentist/hygenist appoinments this morning and then said I'd go in and see my mother.

Going to do a quick HHC in the bathroom and then shower and wake the boys up.

    Good morning all,

I've been up since 6.30, I took DH to the Airport and came back and did an online grocery shop with a £12 off voucher.

I had a nice day with my bestie yesterday, she brought her 2 youngest who are the same age as my 2 youngest and they had a great time together.

Today the plan is to meet DS3's classmates at Hatfi3ld F0rest for an end of holidays get together. I need to pop out to get some packed lunch grub.

Bathrooms have been S/S. I think it's dry today so I'm going to chance washing the dogs bedding.

    Good day wishes to everyone

    Morning all :D

Didn't get on yesterday as I was busy working. I finally put it all away at 11pm last night  So hugs, sticks, spoons, vibes & wishes to all!

Regarding the book clearing, DD is a horror for wanting to keep all her books. She can devour 2 books a day if I let her and the majority of books in this house seem to be hers. I buy most of mine from charity shops for 29p-£1 so when I've finally read it I put it straight in the charity box. The only books I keep are sentimental, or ones I've bought new. Even reference ones get culled once a year now as I have limited space for them.

    Bossy - Enjoy!

Todays plan is to fly through the entire house so I can have the weekend off since DD is away. ;) She's just turned down going out with a friend so she can help me...I think she's after more pocket money :rotfl: Thankfully I have another week before I need to make sure back to school stuff is all done, last item or two will be purchased Tuesday as I'm dragging DD with me since her bus pass will be valid ;) I also have a few other jobs which need to be done, so restarting the list from scratch, here's todays plan:

Wm x 6 (and 2 more to do tomorrow when beds are stripped) Hoping I can peg them out but we'll see
Wash sofa cover since the dog wiped his bum on it this morning (counted as one of the loads above)
Mr A/Al can wait until tomorrow morning if necessary
    Ironing
    Put books out
    DD pack
Bake cakes! Currently have fruit soaking and all the ingredients sat out on the side ready to go.

DD is out walking the dog, so I guess I can get on with some jobs. Somehow I've lost 2 hours already sitting here reading stuff. As much as I love Fridays to fly by, I want today to slow down a little :rotfl:

Right, time to strip the sofa down.....this may prove fun....and I think I'm going to try and put the rug outside to air for a bit. Poor dog will be sliding everywhere on the laminate if he tries to play today!
Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.
Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!
  • Another long series of Chemo decluttered. I didn't get home until 7, and I looked and felt dreadful. But I have made an attempt to drink more and have happily woken up feeling better. Hope it continues.

DD2 and I have just gone through her fiance's cricket bag. I washed his kit on Monday but thought I had missed something. I hadn't - we have just realised that he must have left one shirt at cricket.

But as the bag got soaked we decided we better go through it. Ugh - there is a washload of bits and pieces on at the moment - most of which smell rank! Some of the no wash stuff will be hung on the washing line and aired....

Another lovely day here. I am up and dressed and may try and do a bit of pottering, within my limits, of course.

Love, hugs, spoons and sticks for any black dogs that are lurking..

Hugs CY sorry you are feeling rough, fluid intake will help. Have you been advised to use gentle toiletries like the simple range? Mil had radiotherapy not chemo but she was told it makes your skin more delicate so you need to be careful with perfumed etc stuff.
