I have Virgin broadband and phone. My sky package was £92 month and I was paying £10.99 for insurance ( I know !) Told them to switch it off which happened on 30th Dec. The service button was showing I could get 60% off any 'package' but this doesn't include multiroom ( OH is disabled so we need this a he's bedridden) sports or films.
I've been with them around 25 years. Phoned 'live chat' and was offered 50% off rather than 60% which was then taken to 60% and £50 credit. Asked about the 75% and £100 credit, told 'that offer is finished' So I got switched off. Looking on the PC at my account it just tells me to phone 0330 number (which is going to cost me) Any suggestions?I Believe.....

I think this is quite poor so I'll now look at other providers then ring Sky and tell them to cancel.
Shame as I actually like the sky service.
We have had Sky for about a month now and we pay £56.91/Month
We have:
Sky Q 2tb and Multiscreen
Box Sets
Cinema
ADSL Broadband Unlimited
Basic Phone (pay as you talk) & rental0 -

I've got exactly the same package and negotiated just before Christmas and got Sky Talk Line Rental - £17.40, Sky Broadband Unlimited - free, Box Sets - £14.10 = £31.50 per month plus £50 credit which equates to £27.33 over a 12 month contract. This was after I cancelled but 6 weeks before it was due to be switched off so you'll have no problems getting the same or better if you push it to the wire (or beyond).0 -

Keep checking My Sky for when the 'left within 12 months?' link reappears. That's where my 75% off with £100 credit appeared, after a poster tipped us off.0 -
We have Sky boxsets (standard Sky+), multiscreen x 1, 40mb unlimited fibre broadband, and basic phone line with Sky. £87 ish per month
Tried to haggle but best I could get was 40% off so cancelled.
Later that afternoon went on live chat again and got:
£10/month fibre
£17.40 line rental (standard)
£40.50 for Sky Box Sets with new Sky Q 1tb box, new additional Sky Q mini box, multiroom, and NO INSTALLATION FEE
£67.90 total
I'm happy with that... not a massive lot off % wise but the no installation fee was pretty good I thought0 -
Has anyone managed to get anything of broadband and phone
Last year I got a deal of £65 for multiroom, box sets, movies sports, fibre and line rental for 12 months. This has now expired and I can't get anything of the broadband or talk.
It turns out my 50 percent off the TV package is until July 2022!! Which I didn't realise last year, however my bill is now over £90 a month due to paying £17.50 for line rental and £20 for fibre instead of £10 for both0 -

As regards the fibre then the poster immediately above yours seems a starting point
July 2022? Not doubting you but how exactly did you manage that? I'm guessing that's not your minimum term contract :rotfl:0 -
I have no idea is the honest answer, I spent a good amount of time last January trying to get the best deal,
I was told it was a 12 month contract and 12 month discount so I agreed, I noticed this months bill was £11 higher, so pro rata the discount was coming off
I checked my sky future bills and they kept showing the discount on the TV, so I rang ready for my annual fight for discount, I was told due to the discounts on the system, they couldn't offer me anything else, I then pointed out they expire this month, to be told that only the phone and BB expire this month, the tv is until 2022, (This was TV cancellations)
I rang back the BB disconnections and they confirmed 2022 for the TV discounts, which can be carried over to SKY Q as well... happy days
I rang back today and managed to get 7.50 discount on the BB, no discount on the telephone and a free Sky Q router,
I would have a new 12 month contract on phone and BB, and on a rolling contract for TV, (If I sign upto sky Q I would be on a 18 month contract for TV)0
