Trying to upgrade to Sky Q (I'm a diamond member).
    Been offered:
    £20 entertainment
    £20 sports
    £10 cinema
    £2 Sports HD
    £5 HD

If I want the 2tb sky q it's an extra £12 multiroom and a £10 fee. So £69. Not sure if that's a good price, or if I should cancel and see if I can get anything better.

Got offered a good deal for non sky q of £41, but not sure my box will last another 18 months ...

That's a frankly insulting offer, if that £41 includes all of the above then I'd take it. If the box fails they'll replace anyway even if they have to change the LNB and give you a 1TB Q box. The other option would be a cheap second hand HD box.

    I think the £41 was
    Entertainment £20
    Sports £10
    Cinema £10
    Sport hd £1
    Other hd £0

Must admit it sounds tempting. Do we really need uhd...

I've been offered a deal but with a £10 admin charge? Anyone had any success in getting that waived? It's not much but the principle, it screams 'this fee is for nothing but we know you will agree to it because of this better deal you've been offered'.

Also, I've been offered the entertainment pack alone for £15p/m. Has anyone done better than that?

    Thanks.

These are the prices we are limited to when upgrading to SkyQ, there's not really any room for manoeuvre there. The £10 admin fee is a standard feature with any offer, and there's no sign of it going away.

It may be a "standard feature" but it certainly can be waived as I've had it waived myself. I would urge everybody to just refuse to pay it, when it comes around to re-negotiation again I will happily walk away despite whatever deal you come up with.

I got it waived last October....and when I negotiate this time I have no intention of accepting a deal with it included!!

True, when first introduced it was waived from time to time. Since then there have been changes, and if anyone somehow manages to get an offer on their entire service without it, I salute them. :)

The wife has been interested in Q for awhile (I'd cancel the entire thing myself) and it's available for just £20 for the 2TB box as a VIP customer (10 years). The kicker for us was we would have had to accept the £12 a month multi-room even though we don't need it. God knows what they'd have done with our 50% Boxsets offer we're on.
