My current Sky TV offer is due to expire soon . Im the great 60% off TV deal from last year. I currently pay £33 fot Entertainments, Cinema and Sport all in HD . My package will go up to £43.50
. I have already called them once and they offered me £40 a month for 12 months . Broken down
Entertainment £20
Sport £10
Cinema £6
Box sets £1 (dont need that )
HD £3
My BBand is with BT that Ive just negotiated.
Just wonder what you guys think...how much lower can we get . Id be disappointing to pay more than Im currently on.
I think £40 for that aint too bad.0 -

Hi Tope. No we dont have Sky Q. The beauty of the version of Sky HD box we have is that we can run the Sky content to another TV upstairs , without paying for Multiroom. So Id be loathe to lose that.
Im going to call them today to see if can drive it down anymore back to what were currently paying, if not then its call bluff time and I tell them Im cancelling. I have the £40 deal currently set in stone otherwise.0 -

As soon as i typed in stone I shouldve said that they have given me a reference number if I ring back and want to take the deal.0

Some things never change.... Rang Sky about 5.30 , spoke to a lady who I think said she was passing me to the cancel team, and blatantly just cut me off. Do Sky put pressure on these teams , Asia based Id guess, to just stop people getting thru to these teams ? Ive now tried to get back thru and its now closed.
The Sky website seems to have loads of links broken ...again surprisingly ones to cancel or contact us.
My big mistake was not putting my cancellation in place the 1st time I spoke to them. Am I right in thinking you used to be able to cancel online ?0 -
Just a question - do Sky send an email confirming any deal that youve agreed ? Always makes me wary when companies dont. BT do - which is lucky , as they havent listed one of my offers.0

If I recall they send a letter/contract showing the deal. Keep a copy of chat transcripts. You can also tell if it has been applied as it shows on future bills in your online account.0 -
Still cant get past £40 for my TV package. (Sports , Cinema , HD & Entertainment )
Have so much going on right now , I fell like just accepting , without cancelling - yes I know :-(
Cant see how Im going to get it any lower. I even asked if could throw in a MasterCard like they do with new customers.
Thoughts guys ? Id happily set to cancel, but wonder if I will get the £40 offer back during my 4 weeks cancellation period. .0 -

If you're happy enough to see it turned off then save yourself £40 a month, otherwise I doubt you're improving on that.0 -
Sorry , I assumed using the word 'cancel ' on this thread meant cancel for a month
Definitely not for ever in our house . hehe0
