I help do the weigh-ins at our local SW group. We didn't have too many members off this week (unusually) but did have lots of members running off straight after WI. We also had quite a few members of the evening class coming in to the morning's session as they're off work for HT. Am expecting to see quite a few gains next week on the scales from HT - that's usually what we see.

Still managed to have some lovely awards in our class this morning, including 2 5 1/2 stone ones :)

    Hi Greent,

Being weigh person is how I got into being a consultant. My consultant asked me to go to an Opportunity Event and I was amazed by the whole thing. Six years later I run two groups and love my job. Best job in the world.

    Morning all,

Just got back from a little trip up to the North East to see a couple of friends. Treated myself to a night in a Travelodge - gosh I so love their beds! So comfortable!!!!! Really, I just love staying in hotels - what a saddo!!!! :rotfl:

Today is the day the mortgage daily interest takes me back over £80k. Currently it stands at £80,001.02. How utterly annoying!!!

Still, only another 11 days and it'll be back under again.

Just read your diary from start to finish. Really inspirational!!

I use YNAB too, started a couple of years ago, then decided to do it properly from start of November. Saving for my buffer and now nearly half way there:) Love the peace of mind that it gives you.

    Shall keep reading with interest.

    Hi JD

Great to have you along and to welcome a fellow YNABber!!
I've used it for over a year now but I too started again on January 1st when I subscribed to the newer version. Love the goal setting feature.
Since then I've been making massive inroads into my debt and towards becoming organised.

    How's it going for you?

Thanks newlygirl, that means a lot. Lovely to have you popping in.

It's taken me a while to get there but I've made it. By the end of March, I'll be free of the £80,000s and saying hi to the £70,000s!!:j:j

  • Hi everyone,

    Latest financial news:

Mortgage is down to £80,101 and I'm saying goodbye to the £80,000s. By March 31st, I'll be in the £70,000s!!:j

Mortgage daily interest falls by 3p to £9.96 and I've paid off 11.12% so clear another 1%:j

The Age of Money has shot up from 28 days to 56 days at February 29th meaning I have hold of my money for nearly 2 months before I spend it. That's down to the successful SW January I expect.

Can't wait to get stuck into March!
