Thanks Tilly, I have thought about you all from time to time and always with the intention of getting back amongst you as soon as possible. Finally back on an even keel again now but I have had such a rocky time with a bit of depression, post op stuff and a huge wobble about my place in the world and where I'm going and with whom.
What a melting pot of melodrama and histrionics!
Anyway, I'm still fighting so pat on the back for me I suppose.

Well according to YNAB, during the quarter ending 31/03/2017, I have increased my wealth by the princely sum of £1,374.03
At least it's going in the right direction. It would have been so much more without a £5.5K tax bill in January!
T:)
Ps Sorry, did I say increased my wealth......
I clearly meant decreased my debt :rotfl:Mortgage at end 05/2007: £90200

Evening everyone....
I just remembered that on 1st April 2016 I began saving every £2 which crosses my path (and there's quite a few pass through my Slimming World tin) and so today it's a year since I began doing this.
I just counted the coins in my £2 piggy bank and it came to:
£718:T:T:T:T:T
Totally chuffed.
This will be used to finance our trip to Belgium & Holland in June.
I was checking out Eurostar before and I can get us both there and back for £29 each in each direction so £116 for both of us from London St Pancras to Brussels. Bargain!

Morning all,
First banking day of April and yes, the monthly slashing off the bank balance as the direct debits have all gone out. I'm doing ok though as this money was put aside out of March's big pay check. I'm working on getting it so that I have put money aside from a pay check plus one, so February's money pays April's bills and March's money pays May's.
YNAB tells me my Age of Money is now 43 days so I'm well on the way with this.
Council tax went up by £6.82 but my vehicle service plan went down by £7 so happy days!! Aprils water bill is always erratic as it mops up the balance from the year. So I'm kind of on an even keel.
I've discovered I eat out far too much, not in expensive restaurants, but I have a lot of carveries (£7 a time) and visits to morrisons cafe. It's becUse my house is such a mess that I can't face cooking. It's easier to just go out. It saves time too but it's not where I want to be. I think it's all part of how I'm feeling about myself. Something I need to think about and tackle.
Anyway, must dash - Tuesday is SW day with groups at 9:30am, 5pm & 7pm, and I have Pilates at 11:30am and a gym session with my PT at 2pm. All designed to raise my self image and self esteem.
Busy busy busy!!
Have a great day everyone and thanks for all your support.
