If it's all too inconvenient for you then you need to accept that you won't be getting cash back. It's not the fault of TCB that you can't be bothered.

"Can't be bothered" to do what exactly? I go through Topcashback to the site and make my purchase isn't that enough? If you can give me a simple procedure that will guarantee tracking will work, then I'll try it (without trashing my PC of course).

Would using a completely seperate browser just for topcashback work? (e.g. I use Firefox but could potentially use IE just for TCB I suppose if it would work!)

Well yet another Simplysuppliments failed cashback transaction despite doing all the right things. I forfeited the discount code I could have claimed but it still didn't track. It now looks like I lost out on the code because I won't be getting the cashback. Absolutley hopeless.

The definition of insanity is doing the same thing repeatedly (using a cash back site that doesn't work for you, in this case) and expecting a different result. ;)

Well the reason, so TCB told me, why SS hasn't been earning me cashback was because I used discount codes which apparently counteract the cashback. This time I took TCB's advice and didn't use any codes. The record of my click to the site via TCB shows on their site but it didn't track.

I have had no trouble lately with them and they often do pay out if codes are used. They paid out on the full price of an order even though I used a 40% discount code ;) Quidco declined a SimplySupplements order because I used a discount code but that was for more than the cash back so no problem.

If that is the case, it sounds like TCB have advised me wrongly.

The T&Cs state they may not pay if a code is used, obviously some do slip through.

TCB isn't working for me on Wilko's at the moment. It's annoying, because we're setting up house, so though it's not huge amounts it's been little and often and would have amounted to a few quid by now. it's one you can't claim on, either, so I don't really know how to alert them to it not working.

Also annoyed about Plus.net - I checked specifically before I clicked through that it wasn't limited to new customers (because it seemed weird that it wasn't), but when I checked to see if the cashback had appeared yet the conditions had changed. I'm sure it was an oversight not to include it originally and I just happened to see the un-updated page, but if I'd known I'd have cancelled my old account and set up a new one in my partner's name at the new house - we'd have got £57 and had our internet switched on sooner!

They got back to me with a passing the buck excuse about checking my cookies and firewall (which I stated in my initial email to them that I did) They say perhaps to try next time on another device. So I have proof of the click through TCB and proof of the purchase so surely I have a case to take higher than them?

I don't normally use IE so I clear all cookies in it then use it to make any cashback purhase. They have always tracked for me. What has screwed up recently was one where Carphone Warehouse declined payment for no apparent reason and one where I bought something from Maplin where the Maplin staff clearly didn't follow the correct procedure as I got an email reminding me about the reservation I'd made a couple of days after picking the thing up.
