Top cashback fails to track on the larger purchases

I am getting tired of Top Cashback's failure to track when I actually make purchases of a decent amount of money. It used to be pretty reliable but recently I went through TC and purchased a 2 night stay with late Rooms. I have the record of the site visit at TC but for some reason it didn't track. I spent £170 in the hope of getting a few quid off. This has happened for some other purchases too.
Is there a better cashback site than TC (not Quidco as they were pretty dire too)

I've just had £126 cashback track for me in the last few weeks, as well as a few smaller purchases. Indeed, tcb tends to track for me 90% of the time.
Quidco, on the other hand, stiffed me out of £70 recently as the transaction failed to track then the merchant was pulled in quick succession. THAT'S shoddy.0 -
I too find that little transactions track, but larger ones do not. I am awaiting responses to manual claims from Hotel.com (£40) and Direct Line (£115). Thomas Cook rejected my claim for £70 without giving a reason, and I hadn't used a discount code or anything like that. I have not used Thomas Cook since.0

It's all a swizz. The B and B we booked with said we would have saved a tenner if we had booked through them and not late rooms. Besides, late rooms take a chunk of a fee from the B and B.0

To be fair, most manual claims through Topcashback are successful (except for Thomas Cook in my experience!).0

It is annoying to think the are tempting us to buy things with cash back offers, then not paying the money offered. I am surprised they can get away with it legally.0

We've never had a problem with any Top Cashback claim because we always keep an Internet log of the session in which the transaction occurred. On the one occasion when we made the mistake of going near a certain energy switching outfit, which promised a cashback and then claimed -- to Top Cashback -- that it had never, ever dealt with us, we simply notified TC of the existence of the session log and that was that. The cashback was eventually forthcoming.
It's a shame that some folks don't seem to know how simple it is to make a session log -- ye gods, it's child's play itself with Internet Explorer, perhaps less so with FF and Chrome -- because that log is your "proof of purchase".0 -
I've never had a failed tracking with any cashback site. Maybe that's because I make really sure there are no previous visit cookies present. I don't normally use IE except for cashback purchases and I clear all cookies before starting out.0

Never had a problem with Topcashback or Quidco and have had every last penny that was due to me...sometimes more!0

Since my claim (of what would have been £17 cashback) I have heard nothing except
Hi there,
Your Missing CashBack Claim has been put ‘On Ice’, as the merchant in which you are claiming against imposes a validation period of 30 days.
We will need to keep your claim on our system until this time period has elapsed from the date in which you have completed your transaction, thereafter it will be automatically released after 29 Aug 15 and sent over as part of the next claim batch.
If you notice that your expected cashback tracks in the meantime, can you kindly close this claim as soon as possible using the button labelled ‘Close this claim’.0 -
I've had over £400 through TCB and nothing has ever failed to track.
Some bigger items like insurance take a few months (they check 3 months after purchase to see that you haven't cancelled), but they've all come good so far.
But I do all those through a separate browser so there's no way of some other cookie being used.0
