Be patient hubb, merchants impose those periods because of people purchasing, then returning and pocketing the cash back.

After 29th August your claim will progress along the normal route and be submitted to the merchant for review.

Well so far it hasn't tracked.

I am getting sick of Top Cashback hardly ever tracking now. It always seems to be the higher purchases and not the lower ones that fail to track. I just made another purchase from another store that hasn't tracked by the next morning.

I also find the website confusing and hard to find the relevant info in your account.

    Here we go again:

Thanks for lodging your missing cashback claim for Gorgeous Shop.

"We're sorry that something seems to have gone wrong with your transaction, but our dedicated customer service team will try to resolve this for you through your claim.

Your claim has temporarily been put 'On Ice' for a short while until we are able to process it. Once we're sure your transaction won't track on it's own, we'll be able to submit your claim to the merchant's network for you."

    What a con !

....Is there a better cashback site than TC (not Quidco as they were pretty dire too)

No, TCB and Quidco are the best two. I've never had a problem with either.
  • Never really had a problem with TCB - but then again hbb is the most unluckiest mse'r in town as it seems everything they buy or do go's wrong.

Well I made another purchase with this shop and again it hasn't tracked.

"We're sorry that something seems to have gone wrong with your transaction, but our dedicated customer service team will try to resolve this for you through your claim."

It just seems to be the standard routine now with TCB.

Part of the normal claims process means the claims get released from On Ice and submitted with the next batch. They seem to do batches every few weeks.

Also the next day is far too soon to decide it won't track. TCB as far as I recall won't consider it a failure for 7 days and anything 0-7 days will be put On Ice (this is TCB's holding period not the merchant).

Quidco on the other hand will accept a claim as valid from the next working day.

Open support tickets if you want to chase them.

If things are persistently not tracking maybe consider installing the tool bar or looking at how you are shopping through TCB in terms of cookies etc.

If you've previously looked at a merchants site then go through TCB, a cookie from the first visit may have been places and therefore the company don't view it as a TCB purchase. If the cookie hasn't been cleared by you then again not a TCB visit.

If a specific merchant is not tracking multiple times then flag it up with TCB support, that's not their fault likely a merchant fault so unfair to blame them for that.

All of of mine have been fine. Have you check to see if cookies track on your computer as if this keeps happening to you it's probably a problem at your end?

A few options you could try - do you have any in private browsing or any prviacy toolbars on? Are you using a proxy server? If any of these turn off.

And as others have said clear your cookies and try and again. Or even re-install your browser.

It sounds like a tracking problem at your end, not Top Cashback if it consistently happens. I've used Quidco for years and only had 2 minor tracking issues - for small purchases (Pizza Hut) and those issues were years ago.
