    Morning! :D

Keep popping in to have a quick read across the board between doing more bits in the garden, though if the rain doesn't stop it'll just be tea and cake today :rotfl:

SJ - got my DFW badge by posting on the 'Roll of Honour' on the DFW board, so my guess is there's a thread on the Energy one. Hope someone comes along and can point you in the right direction for it! We like badges :D

I like pay down day and 'another month off the millstone' :)

    Kettle time again!! Back later...

A washout of a Bank Holiday Monday with nothing done in the garden this morning, thankfully rain stopped long enough this afternoon to get a few holes drilled/hooks up for hanging plant bags and clearing up finished. Old pots back out and filled, promptly followed by doglet digging in one :rotfl:. Quickly got a stake and net surrounding them!

Got a lift to C0stco too and 1250 Typh00 bags for £9.99 (I like my tea :rotfl:) large tub of M@rmite for £4ish and bucket of fruit and berry bird balls for £4ish (pressie to put away from DS to Mum for Xmas) bought. Had a NSD yesterday and Saturday.

Thanks to Thistle for mentioning utilities, I've just been out and read the elec meter with a torch to get the reading done online for the bill. We're up at 11.87 units per day this month  compared to 10 last month and 9.5 August last year. Candles are coming out for light and warmth early this year :). Looks like I've just gone into a deficit by £3 so the £10 drop in monthly payment they set in May was too much. Will monitor.

    Financials then:
    - bank account - all set for the new month
    - freepostcodelottery - checked
    - Inbox Pounds - up at £4.75
    - Qmee - another 11p, pot at 21p at the moment

Though I'm technically still off work this week, I'll be in planning and prep mode for starting back properly next week. Already need 2 days off during September for the funeral and next Neuro appointment in London.

Will check mortgage online tomorrow and should be able to confirm interest due end of September and then I can post the update and reductions to that bit :)
