Not yet Alex, due to sign and take on 9th October. It's occupied until then. Back to home office working in the interim, talk about cluttered . Can't wait to move it back out, but obviously much lower overheads without it - swings and roundabouts :)

Glad it's the weekend, has felt like a long week and had the funeral yesterday that went as well as these things can.

Freepostcodelottery has 300 sign ups per month for P!necone that they released yesterday for this month, 200 left today if anyone is interested. Link is on the FPL site.

Had another survey in from PC and done, so another £3 to the cause.

Interest on the £4k pot paid at £2.06 - shall sort myself out with moving that pot once I'm settled financially with new office costs etc.

Food shop done and spent @ £34. Kept up a good run of NSDs,but need to buy DS's birthday card and sort that ready for next weekend.

Planning Officer and Architect are coming next Friday afternoon for the pre-planning advice meeting on the proposed extension plan.

Inbox Pounds is up at £5.85
Qmee - still at 27p in the pot

All a bit quiet now until capital payment day - 17 days to go :)

Hope I didn't make you spend too much ;) and great to read your garden is looking good too.

Thanks brizzled. Am glad I opted to go straight into MFW from DFW, little chance to stray :)

Delighted to say the bits and bobs jobs in the garden are all done (including fence painting :D) and the bulbs planted :j . The savings on food shopping should be seen next week as no DIYers to feed. It'll be quiet around here which should please the neighbours after nearly 5 months of noisy weekend work.

I've earnt a £5 voucher towards DS's family birthday lunch next weekend with doing a short survey - perfect timing :). Bought his birthday card and the October ones in town this morning - £4 spent. Cash into his card is done. He also needed a casual shirt for 'best' so £9 in Primarni - size L at 15 . His hand-me-downs are way too big for me now, though might work as a night-shirt :rotfl: Then a pressie for one of his friends birthdays, another £5.

Quiet afternoon, few bits ironed, washing put away and a short-ish list to work through next, mostly housework, sorting/tidying up and meals related.

    Financials:
    Inbox £s - up at £6.00
    Qmee - still on 27p

Need to think what I'm going to do with the front garden border now....a job for next year :)

Was a lovely day yesterday and made the most of it in the garden. Wet and horrible today though, hoping we'll have a last blast of summer weather before it turns cold day and night.

So much for looking forward to some peaceful weekends - we've now got stuff on for the next 4 and I want to make a start on going through the Christmas drawers to make a list of what's left to get.

I've parted company with £52 for DS's GCSE books tonight - that's just 2 subjects, expect they'll be more to come. A little concerned about him as he's sleeping alot in the evening and then overnight too, maybe it's just hormones - he is getting up at 6am and eating properly.

LO beef in casserole with veg tonight, cycled that off with another 11km and a 45 min dog walk. So dislike being out on the dark evenings.

Feel like I'm on top of everything pretty well at the moment - housework, birthdays, work and the finances - hopefully a run of NSDs as well. Work is good for that :)

  • All sounding very organised Miss A!

At least he is sleeping, most teenagers stay up too late and don't get enough sleep!
