Morning All!
Busy busy and enjoying life to the max, whilst watching the pennies too
Alex - it's a 5 yr old SLKMore tourer than roadster but switch into sport mode and it's not far off the old Boxster for handling and grip. Love it and the weather has been way kinder for this time of year
Cath - Yay to your extension, storming ahead there! Here, Building Regs Approval Cert has come through so all set to build when I wish. Which won't be yet...DS in last year of GCSEs so at best we're looking at next summer to start, most likely Spring 2018 though as it's not being added to the mortgage, I need to build savings up again, plus am questioning doing it...not needed in reality or it being smaller is being discussed with a good builder I've found through contacts.
And it was mortgage day yesterday, so £725 sent to that and balance reduced from £105,175 to £104,450. Getting closer to 5 figures it feels at long last!
Split sees the smaller part drop to £12,225 and large part staying at £92,225.
Still alot of outgoings at the moment - dog booster vacs this week, social life with friends has been busy and a certain other person too
All good - got to live a little and enjoy a lotBack on the DFW Wagon:
CC - £3,300 on 0% til 04/2020
CC - £4,500 on 0% til 02/2019
Loan - £12,063.84 as at 4/1/180 -

Sounds like everything is going well for you, Ali.
Please tell me it's the AMG version with the 5.0ltr V8?.
Whilst you've been enjoying the weather in your roadster, mines been sat on axle stands. Finally starting to get somewhere with it: only suspension and brakes to go (engine, gearbox and axle all been serviced / checked / any work done). Then, onto the interior. Hoping to be driving it by the middle of this month just as the weather turns. :rotfl: Starting to wonder if you've the right idea ... no doubt the SLK has a decent heater and a roof that goes up and down at the push of a button?Bet you don't have to carry about a small tool set and a few parts, either. :rotfl: Not sure why I do it to myself still ...
