    Becoming lazy at updating :o

Mortgage interest figure confirmed at £230.16 for July. Last July it was £362.49, a good reduction thanks to the 1% drop in rate.

Big part £92,225 stays at £199.05/£6.55 per day
Small part £14,415 reduces to £1.02 per day (down 6p on last month). Will be below £1 a day in August :j

I've closed the Floyds saver account that had £10 left in it and moved that to a 3% account.

£7.15 bills cashback arrived in 123 but need to offset the £5 fee - which hasn't been taken yet - little addition of £2.15 to the cause :)

    Other financial bits and bobs:

    - Checking FPL, Birthday Lotto and LP daily (up at £8.59)
    - Qmee pot at 22p
    - Inbox £s at £11.01

Got a discount on renewing sub for Mum and saved £2 there.

House insurance renewal arrived an increase of £25, shall be shopping around for that soon!

Similarly computer software renewal is in - often cheaper to buy from new again, will investigate.

Last acupuncture done today and neck/shoulders/back are feeling really good :j

Have chased up architect to find out how Building Regs are going... been in 7 weeks now.

Hi Ali, how are things going with building regs? We have ours back now and funds permitting we are just waiting on a start date from builder. Never thought we would be at this point!
    June 2025 - part 1 - £19,145 part 2 - £21,973 Total - £41,118 29 months to go!

    Creeps quietly back in... :o

Excellent news Cath on your build, I have no idea where mine is. Last I heard BR cleared queries date passed on 26th July and Architect sent replies on the 25th and went on holiday again!

August capital payment made on 28th July - £765, so small part is now down to £13,650 and total stands at £105,875. Couldn't help but do an OP! :D

    Accounts interest and cashback in today too - £16.59 + £8.31 + £10.80 + £7.34 = £43.04.

House insurance I managed a nice saving there of £47 on last year - down at £96.36 :)

Keeping on top of daily checks and LP is so close to payout at £9.86.

Working less over the school hols, but still reasonably busy and enjoying the lack of alarm clock :D

Have been dipping in and out of diaries, but mostly enjoying the sunshine and keeping on top of the outdoor jobs.

    Better update my sig!

:rotfl: Early days and on a MSE note, cheap so far! :D

Mortgage interest for August confirmed at £228.51, down £1.65 on last month or 5p a day.

Part 1 - £13,650 drops to £29.46 for the month, or 97p per day. Yay, under £1 :j

    Part 2 - £92,225 stays at £199.05 or £6.55 per day.

T$B Reg Saver up at £2,750 with only next month to go. Looking forward to the interest there.

Savings are up at £11,785, all earning higher interest than the mortgage rate - at the moment! See what BoE does tomorrow.

    P!necone - £9 to withdraw there
    Qmee at 80p
FPL and Birthday Lotto being checked still
Few more points collected on LuckyPhone. Come on £10!

All the August birthdays sorted, soon to start on September - DS will be 16  How did that happen!! And school stuff too, never seen such a tatty blazer but he's insisting it'll last him until he finishes there next summer. It was big 5 years ago!
