Thanks for the prod :) Am still around and reading posts, can't get rid of me that easily :rotfl: ;)

Am a bit out of sorts, just can't put my finger on it - mojo deficient and a bit insular about covers it :o

    There's been good money stuff:

    £9 from P!necone in
£15 in change bags to bank tomorrow
    55p in Qmee pot

Food shop done Friday night...receipt still sat here - £22.17

    And spendy bits too:

£8.26 deficit on electricity account from moving suppliers, paid and account closed up (I hope!)
Final £60 for DS school trip paid
£1.50 per day so far this week as DS having hot food in school restaurant (important exam week for sets next year and he's struggling with sore throat/cold/etc)

Usual conundrum of how much to send to mortgage in 7 days time - £810 makes sense and send the rest to 123 for the 3%. I'll be close to bank account interest matching mortgage interest on the smaller part, quite a milestone :)

Work is quieter on the billable front, but means I am catching up on the admin side, inbetween catching the few rays of sunshine that reached us this morning!

Acupuncture gave an incredible result last week - I was sitting nice and straight and not my usual hunched up shoulders - didn't even notice until the physio pointed it out  Marvellous, as was the choccy bar afterwards :D

Great OP today AFK too - well done :T and hope you're in less pain Beanie :)

Glad to hear everything's ok as things go :)

first thought you might have been on holiday and missed your post stating such, but school's not out - yet.

Any plans ? apart from the extension ones, I mean :D

No holiday plans, except Costa Del New Back Garden :D. DS doesn't want to go anywhere and costs are steep in school hols - we can go for probably half that this time next year when he finishes his GCSEs (if he wants to).

We'll likely do some days out - south coast by train to see family for the day will be one, long dog walks with DB and his hound another. Just chillin' for the rest..when I decide which weeks to take off!

Quite a few things achieved today:

    - Picked up outstanding prescription (had GPs last Saturday and 2 items - used the pre-paid card that only has 2 weeks left to run on it).

    - Bought a half price top in Sburys and 6 pts of milk - £5.49 spent
    - Banked the change bags
    - Coloured hair from stock box
    - Phoned to book dry hair trim and eyebrow thread and they had space this afternoon - £20 for those
    - Sorted chest of drawers and have a small pile for the CS

Amazed how much I can get through when I don't let myself worry about work. And ending the day with sunshine - it's rained and been a grey old day again. Really does affect my mood.

    Peekaboo

I haven't caught up but just trying to do the rounds and say hello and sorry for no contact. It's been an exceptionally odd and busy time.

Much love to you. So glad to hear acupuncture is doing you good. I found a specialist physio on the next street to me. She deals with hyper mobile people, of which I am apparently a right one. Haha! I haven't touched my toes since breaking my back when I was 11. I can touch with ease now on the good days!! :)

Anyhow your figures look incredible. Very proud of you. Much love xx

Great news about your back, and I find the Costa del back garden a fine destination.

    And am back again :rotfl:

Lilty...how lovely to see you back - I'll be catching up on your thread for sure :). Good to read how physio has helped you..DS *sometimes* does his exercises for his hyper-mobility..usually when the pain strikes.

Love the garden now and spend as much time as possible out there, Springy feels the same and is often sprawled out on the artificial grass.

Well, after the shock result of last Friday and all the unknowns that come with it, particularly with being SE, I decided to just send the 'base' payment to the mortgage today - small OP in it to keep the figures round though :D - so £700 gone and I expect to put £700 into savings too - £250 5% Reg Saver, £450 3% account.

    So scores on the doors:

    £133,444 start
    £107,340 last month
    £106,640 this month

Coming off the small part, taking that from £15,115 to £14,415.

Interest should reduce by £1.69 on the month or 6p a day.

31 months and £26,804 paid off, of which £6,700 ish is OPs. Not too shabby!

    Other financials:
    Another £3 from P!cone
    Inbox £s up at £10.63
Qmee off the blocks again at 11p
LP, BL and FLP still being checked

Food shop was a hefty £38.85 last week and another fuel fill up was £33 on Saturday.

DS cost me £76 in new clothes too, but had a good clear out/try on of all his stuff and it might tip me into getting onto the bay of e, as a few new/unworn items. Is it worth it though!

He started his work experience this week and was shattered last night, but enjoyed it. First taste of the world of work!
