very positive plans which is getting some great rewards. I have been a long advocate of artifical grass and we've had it for 5 summers now. Best thing i ever bought (after my first dog...!)MFW: Was: £136,000.......Now: £47,736.58......0

It'll be multi-functional - might even try and start growing stuff from seeds in itIt's a little 6x6 corner one. Need to choose paint colours and buy that...more cost. :Sigh: DIYer can put electricity into it too, but being careful DS doesn't nab it for a man-cave, it's definitely a She-Shed

I'll second it being a top purchase...that constant immaculate look has such a wow factor. Was the first dog the reason for getting it? Same here if so! Wonderful to be rid of the uneven mud bath Springy turned it into!
Finished early today and have banked the £10 of 20p's, paid myself back owed expenses and have got the first load of washing drying on the line. Few small housey jobs done to get ahead on the weekend.
Got a cake to make and more block paving to de-moss and de-weed. 2 spaces done, 2 to go. Hopeful I can make good progress over the weekend.
Fuel is down to 92 miles left...2 gallons at most, wonder if I can last until the new month....
Happy Weekend everyoneBack on the DFW Wagon:

A man cave each, that's a good idea Lil.
Plans are getting a bit grand for the new en suite(free standing bath, walk in shower, WC and basin in a unit run) but saving on the dressing room by sizing it to take my current wardrobes.
Starting to list what else can be re-used too - an internal door and possibly a window so far. Sized up and priced some other items, but with a few friends in various trades hoping to reduce costs along the way.
Tricky neighbour spoken to - a cautious ok response, so a wait and see if they raise any objections once the letters go out.
Diary is in danger of becoming a spending one, so on the making and saving side of the finances:
- bank account checked
- freepostcodelottery still being checked daily
- Inbox £s up at £7.48
- Qmee - cashed out 66p and kicked the pot off again with 5p yesterday
- MOP day tomorrow - wooppeeeee :j
- Didn't use car over the weekend
Time for bed - busy work day tomorrow and need to phone the bank re: the MOP first thingBack on the DFW Wagon:

:rotfl: Are you Mrs K's older, more sensible sister? Hope the coffee table is a V8 or V12 though.
As for just mown grass scent, I've got a cheaper solution for that...
Re. house renovations, it does get expensive and the plans do become far too grand. We were not long ago looking into sorting out our bathroom. Mrs K wants a separate shower unit but we were both surprised at the cost of nice fixtures and fittings for such an item. Not to mention it's going to be a lot of work to do. If she gets that we're having a period bath, though.2018 totals:
