P!necone is surveys at £3 a go usually on new household and food products. They send a short preliminary survey that doesn't pay, but then a £3 one usually arrives about a week later. I haven't done Y0uG0v ones so can't compare, but hope that gives enough info. Ooh sometimes they send the product to try too which gives an additional paid survey for the feedback. I've had several
Sign up tends to be the tricky bit as they don't recruit all the time, but were looking for 300 extra people earlier this month so worth a look on their site or there's a thread on Up Your Income board.
I used to find I got one paid survey a month, but it's gone really busy - maybe people on holiday or left. All free money worth having in my bookBack on the DFW Wagon:

Compost is confusing...so many types! From what I've gleaned 'free draining' is made by adding fine grit and sharp sand to it. Luckily had some grit and sand laying around from the DIYers work so dug that into a mix of compost and the top soil that I had originally. Don't worry if you don't have those - crumbly soil (rather than big lumps) is good enough with regularly feeding. Mum highly recommends Miracle Gro too - a watering of that on plants regularly should see big and strong plants.Back on the DFW Wagon:

Gardening is frustrating at the best of times!
Morning already gone awry due to an early phone call to say family were popping in @ 9.30am . A quick whizz round to dust/tidy was nicely overlooked by said guests as I diverted them to the gardenI'll count that as 1/3rd housework done
A TT of 25p done to holding account - as it's sitting at £91.75 and there's another £3.11 to come, I'll round up to £100 for Friday's mortgage payment = £1,100 to go :j
Pay myself day is also on Friday, a lower income due to 3 weeks off out of August and some business payments in - waiting on another £800 to arrive anyday but current account healthy enough to see me through and budget pretty much nailed for September.
Waiting for a whole dry day or 3 before I tackle fence and deck painting so think that'll push into next week given the forecast here. So home office sort out had better happen this week. Never enough time for everything!Back on the DFW Wagon:

Totally agree Thistle!
I leave things off the To Do list that are nigh on impossible to do in one go - weed and de-moss block paving that is 4 cars worth size  I've taken to pulling out a few of the larger ones as I come in and out the house!
DS wants to go to the early evening film showing, so now got the afternoon spare. Better make use of it and crack on, as tempting as it is to sit and spreadsheet fiddleBack on the DFW Wagon:
