Hey Skinny  Welcome home from your fab time away :j
:rotfl: I realise there's so much more I could do to make more money...you've just reminded me to look at MB again whilst I'm off work.
Don't know where the time goes, though I've been relaxing more which is something I'm generally not good at and hopefully it's doing me good.Back on the DFW Wagon:

I should feel guilty for taking 4 weeks off work, but I don't
the last 2 have been pretty busy, but the next 2 are for R&R at home with a fairly short To Do list (for me anyway :rotfl:)
- Housework top to bottom
- Sort home office out by 6th Sept
- Ironing (4 things)
- Paint fence (still...)
- Clean and re-stain decking
- Sort DS school trousers
- Bake more cakes
- Organise charity shop to collect good sofa
- Boiler service (Thurs)
- Take DS to cinema (Tues)
- Organise DS's friend coming over
- Clean car inside and out
- Cajole DS to sort his bedroom - tidy, declutter and defumigate :rotfl:
Work stuff
- month end accounts next week (they'll be pretty short)
- keep on top of emails
- schedule more work into w/c 7th Sept
Money stuff
- Apply for 1-2-3 current acct and CC
- Read up and try some MB
- Keep my usual financial checks up
Mostly I'm enjoying no alarm clock, leisurely walks with the hounds, the new garden and sunshine...doesn't look like they'll be much of the latter this week though.Back on the DFW Wagon:

Hi Ali,
Didn't quite manage an NSD - popped over to visit my friend who was feeling a bit low. Got there to find he'd no milk, so I had to go and get some (as I had my shoes on!!!). Bought some pickled onion monster munch to cheer us both up, so a £3.05 spend in the end.
Harrumph!!!
T:)
Paid for it out of my "spends and stuff" budget so kept my grocery budget intact!Mortgage at end 05/2007: £90200

Oh brave on the MB.
Keep meaning to read up and try but brain not been in gear much lately.Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became
In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!0 -
Thistle, I'm sure your visit cheered your friend up and over a cuppa with much needed milk! Haven't had Monster Munch in years!
Watty, I've not been brave enough (or understood it well enough previously) to dip my toe into MB waters. Time is on my side for a change
Thanks DFOD. Been a busy morning getting little things done and a few crossed off my list, mind you many didn't make the list as they're standard things I do on auto-pilot
- Old sofa being collected next Saturday. Get our 'new to me' ones same day :j
- Ironing done and put away
On the financials, another P!necone survey arrived and I've completed that, so another £3 will soon be on its way to the TT pot :j . That's 7 since 30th June :T
Qmee is a bit slow at the moment, with just 11p in the pot to cash out - had a quick look and I've earnt £18.87 since starting it (must be 18 months ago).
Qu!dco's £2.19 arrived in my bank account this morning, so that's in the TT pot now - up to £91.50 ready and waiting for Friday's capital payment transfer.
DS's shirts are in store to collect - I'll wait until the rain stops, it's pouring here and chilly. Better do some housework to keep myself warm!Back on the DFW Wagon:
