How would you know when you start dating someone what their opinion on !!!!!! and strip-clubs is though? Do you ask them first? :rotfl:

What it means for the relationship is that you are sufficient for each other and don't need any one else's input to your relationship.

With all due respect there really is no need for this question. How do you know someone you meet (when you were single) wasn't some raging !!!!!! addict? I'm expecting your answer would be the same as mine, ie: you find out these things about people. So no, it's not a first date question but I'd assume I would at some point find out their view on such matters and other viewpoints which could affect a relationship. I'm sure no one has a first date checklist of questions they ask!

So you are saying that if you were dating someone you would break up if they were against !!!!!!. You did say that you wouldn't date someone though not that you would't continue so that implies before dating at all.

Probably yes. As I said it's virtually a deal breaker for me but it isn't purely about the !!!!!!. In fact it isn't even mostly about the !!!!!!. I didn't really wish to expand as I don't want it to come across as insulting to those that don't like !!!!!! but if you wish to hear my reasoning I'm happy to give it.

Your post came across that a relationship where one (or both) partners use !!!!!! is less valid than one where they don't and suggesting that there is a core unhappy element to the partnership. I don't think thats a fair assumption to make and a relationship where !!!!!! is involved can be every bit as loving as one where they don't. I'm happy for you (and anyone else) that a lack of !!!!!! works for you but they'll be plenty of relationships that work with it too.

Have you changed your views on marriage that you had a while back OP? If I remember rightly, you weren't exactly for it? Or is this just a thread to see people's views after the other stag do thread that was posted?

I do think some people automatically think "Stag do = strip club", and don't have the imagination to think of other options available.

No that absolutely wasn't what I meant at all.:( I have no right to say how loving or committed a relationship is with one or other using !!!!!!, not least as I have no experience of it myself. It just isn't for me at all and to me (and I stress me) is a negative and destructive force.

As I pointed out a minute ago I suspect much of your opinion on this matter stems from your religion. Partaking in pornography doesn't strike me as particularly Christian.
