I think it is all harmless fun. Years ago I worked with people who were members of rugby clubs where they would stage a "Gentlemen's Evening" a couple of times a year. This comprised a comedian, a couple of strippers and a curry, all for about a fiver.
They used to bring tickets in and the lads in the office would have a night out. I am not aware that anyone's wife objected to their other half seeing a bit of naked flesh or hearing a few blue jokes. Not sure what they thought about the after effects of the curry though!;)
These nights usually involved a bit of audience participation. There were usually a few volunteers for that and it certainly wasn't compulsory. I think that a woman who has issues with this could be rather paranoid, frankly. All harmless fun as far as I can see.:dance:We're gonna be alright, dancin' on a Saturday night:dance:0 -

But some men would not find it fun, like the man in the other thread about stag nights. So there are men who don't go to strip clubs, regardless of what others on here say.(AKA HRH_MUngo)

Imagine someone holding forth on biology whose only knowledge of the subject is the Book of British Birds, and you have a rough idea of what it feels like to read Richard Dawkins on theology: Terry Eagleton0 -

That's fair enough, everyone is entitled to their own opinions. Personally I couldn't date a woman with this opinion and I wouldn't be willing to lie about it either, so I guess you could call it a dealbreaker for me. It's not necessarily purely about the !!!!!! but what else that means for the relationship too.
I also think the posters suggesting that all men watch !!!!!! are crazy. However I expect there are equal amounts, if not more men who tell their partners they don't and then do it in secret. I know several men who have done this.0 -

I think many women like reading about romance, rather than sexual !!!!!!. There is nothing (to me anyway) interesting in reading about who did what to whom.
There's the old saying that women need to feel loved in order to enjoy sex and men have to have sex in order to feel loved.[/QUOTE]
That will not fit with escorts of both male and female kind, They do not want love prior to getting into bed unless you count the love of money that is.0 -

Tacky in the extreme..!! What is it with hen and stag do's now. Is it compulsory to behave like a---holes just because someone's getting married
Would I be happy if my OH attended a gentlemens club (oh what a misnomer if ever there was one :rotfl: ) No, I don't think I would.
As for !!!!!!, you can watch erotic or pornographic videos/films as a couple, I don't have a problem with that at all.0 -

I doubt that view is shared by many modern women, who believe they can enjoy sex without deep emotional feelings, just as men can.In memory of Chris Hyde #8670 -
Am I right in thinking that when women get strippers they're allowed to touch?0
