Imagine someone holding forth on biology whose only knowledge of the subject is the Book of British Birds, and you have a rough idea of what it feels like to read Richard Dawkins on theology: Terry Eagleton

    No every man doesn't.

Normally I'd be cautious saying anything is 100% but there have been (attempted) studies...

Maybe you should recommend your OH, he's probably as unique as a unicorn in this day and age - scientists would be overjoyed

What he did before we got married over forty years ago I have no idea, but I know he doesn't now. Also he would not lie to me. That's not how you get to have a long and happy marriage.

I think it boils down to men prefer visual stimulation, whereas women prefer the written stuff, hence something like 80% of the readers of 50 shades are women

I don't see how reading about an abusive relationship is erotic it any way at all.

I think many women like reading about romance, rather than sexual !!!!!!. There is nothing (to me anyway) interesting in reading about who did what to whom.

There's the old saying that women need to feel loved in order to enjoy sex and men have to have sex in order to feel loved.
