These things take time.....

  • Focussed on self care last night and had a lovely long soak in the back followed by a documentary about the band Pulp. I was tucked up in bed by 11pm and had a good night's sleep.

Busy day ahead as I have to get work clothes washed and dried ready for my trip tomorrow. Only need 3 days work attire as it's just a travelling day tomorrow. 2 flights:eek: Nice to be able to choose whatever you want off a menu though and someone else is picking up the bill.

I will do some Christmas shopping in the airport as the £1 is still very strong against the DK. Last time I was there I got a 1 litre bottle of Bombay Sapphire gin for £11:T OH likes Southern comfort and my brother likes his whisky so I will check out any bargains. Nice smellies are also a bargain so I shall keep my eye out for a gift for Mum.

Off to get my hair done at the cheaper hairdressers, I am sure it will be fine and I am happy to be saving around £40 in the process.

Not going to set goals for today. Just going to focus on getting ready for my trip.

  • Very pleased with the colour and the cut today, I will wash it and style it myself in the morning as I am not keen on how she has done this (least of my concerns) Got a full head highlights, cut and blow dry for £35.

  • Hello everyone, got back late on Wednesday evening had to go straight back to work on Thursday/Friday. Totally exhausting and I was tucked up in bed last night by 10pm. After a much needed long sleep I feel human again:) I will be going back again on Wednesday - Friday but at least that runs into a weekend.

Got some bargains on my travels so spent quite a bit around £62 but got 2 bottles of spirits,1 bottle of speciality beer (hubbys treat) 3 items from V1ctoria's Secret and a C1inique lipstick (my treat). Also spent £10 on a bottle of wine at the local supermarket and a glass with dinner on our first night.

After work on Thursday we went out for dinner which was totally disgusting and swimming in oil and despite complaining I was still charged so won't be going back there again. (Hubby enjoyed his meal) £25 spent:mad:

BIN items still haven't sold on £bay so am considering lowering the price to get them moving.

Really pleased to have a couple of days to chill out a bit and potter around at home. Need to do some food shopping and I could do with some new work trousers as autumn is creeping in.

    Goals for today:

    HEALTH
Rest and recuperation is the the theme of the day.
Must do some Yoga stretches as my back is sore from the travelling (4 flights)
Replenish my vitamins by eating healthy low fat food and lots of fruit

    WEALTH
List at least 4 new items on £bay (more if I can)
    Pay S@ntander CC
    Pay Tesc0 CC
Write shopping list and stick to it!

    HAPPINESS
Enjoy spending time with Hubby (really missed him)
    Catch up with my boys
Do not check work emails today!

  • Just paid £326 to S@ntander and £163.57 to Tesc0. Total debt under £2k!!!! Off to update signature.

Rest of the month will be tight but doable as no large spending planned.
