Hi everyone!
I agree that sharing meal plans would be a great idea!
Been a busy day today. DS has started his rugby camp. I went to pick him up half an hour early so I could have a sneaky look what they were up to and I can't believe how much he has picked up in 1 day. I am one proud mummy!
DD came with me to my business meeting and we managed some free crafty thing while we were out (thanks Calling). Meeting seemed to go well. There is a possibility of me having a shop for 12 weeks rent free to give my business a trial run and get some much needed publicity. I have also signed up for free training and workshops, so all heading in the right direction.
I have also started a competition on my Facebook page to offer a package free to the winner. It has created a load of interest and I have had a booking since launching it (to be confirmed by payment of deposit tomorrow). so, it's all looking good!
Budgets are currently:
Fuel - £89.26/£120
Groceries - £152.50/£200
Days out - £194.79/£200
Business - £44.17/£1000 -
fmess - good luck tackling the credit cards
Welshkitty - sounds like the business meeting went really well
I also agree that sharing meal plans is a great idea as our meals do tend to be repetitive. So this week our meals are salad, beef stew, egg fried rice, omelette, chicken stirfry and a roast of some kind on Sunday. OH made a lovely beef stew for tea last night, plenty left over so I'll take that to my work for tea tonight.
I've not achieved any more NSDs since my last post. Monday me and OH went to Aldee and managed to spend over double what I budgetedYesterday I spent most of the day with a friend and her wee girl, train tickets were £8 return.
I think I'm coming down with some sort of lurgy, the past two nights I've fallen asleep on the sofa at 9pm and then woken up with a really sore throat the next morning. Hopefully not as I've got a busy week ahead at work.
I've got lots of little things that I want to get done before work today so better get moving. Today should hopefully be a NSD.Mortgage 26.4.25 - £108,500 1.8.25 - £106,362.86

Morning turtles! Sorry I wasn't on yesterday - went to the pub after work to see a friend who is having a baby in about a week, exciting! Sat outside in the sunshine and drank tap water, so didn't even pay for a drink - SFD yesterday and hopefully today as a result!
Meal plan sharing sounds fab, and is in keeping with this month's part of the challenge about recipe sharing! I tend to be a "freezer food" person, will batch cook and freeze as much as I can. On the menu this week is quiche (with sweet potato mash and peas), cajun chicken gumbo and rice, chilli, chicken curry and chicken pasties (I bought a whole chicken, has done enough meals for the both of us for seven nights).
Well done to everyone who is earning extra money or getting money back - you inspired me to check HMRC as I think they emergency taxed me when I changed jobs in February. You can now submit an online claim, which I have done (I really dislike talking on the phone!) so will wait and see what they come up with!

Evening all,
Spendy day today as I did the food shopping and paid for car parking when I went out for a bike ride and picnic with a friend.
Tomorrow could be the day that I find out whether I'm going on holiday on Saturday. It's quite odd not knowing but hopefully it'll be a yes and I'll pack tomorrow night!
Hope you've all had MSE days. I put some more receipts through checkout smart - thanks for the reminder BobLBM = 07/09/13 Debt = £13339 (100% cleared)
