Well....OH and I have decided to keep it a secret because we are scared to jinx it but we put an offer in and the vendor accepted it on the spot! :T:j:beer:

She said she was more than happy with what we offered, even though it wasn't quite at asking price. She actually said that after speaking to me yesterday she wanted us to have it as it's been such a lovely family-starting home for them, and as I work with her Dad she knew we wouldn't take the mick with price or with dragging anything out!!!

So glad I have you lovely lot to tell, I think I'd burst otherwise! Mortgage broker is coming round tomorrow to get all the final bits of paperwork sorted!

Thank you all! I'm so happy this morning, we stayed up late planning what colours to paint each room! A little premature but it made us happy!
I'm keeping everything crossed with this one!

    Hello lovely MSE'ers!

Well we had a meeting with the mortgage advisor last night, signed all the documentation and the valuation fee was taken out of my account this morning so it's all going ahead at the moment

Managed to panic myself again last night about my debt and possibly not being accepted but I keep reminding myself that the mortgage advisor has seen all my debt and credit reports, and also is working on a fee on completion basis so if we don't get a mortgage, all his work will be for nothing.

    Still keeping everything crossed!

  • I'm sure your advisor knows what he's doing...He wants his money after all. You'll be in there before you know it.:D
  • I'm sure you don't need it, but good luck :)
