4.5 hours is a long old wait time. I'm glad you are coping ok though. Well done on having the EF and joint savings topped up. Must be a real comfort." Your vibe attracts your tribe":D

I've been a bit rubbish at updating this week again, but there's not much going on really. Awful week at work so far and today has been no better.
A local tradesman has done something very naughty and I have had to liaise with the HSE about it. He phoned this morning shouting the odds and calling me all the names under the sun. I got a bit upset as I dislike confrontation but I know I have done the right thing and I am not responsible for him causing harm to others.
I'm having quite a bad few days with my tummy so I'm surrounded by hot water bottles at my desk (4 to be precisepeople are looking at me very strangely!)
Spent some time with friends last night. I think I've mentioned before that we have a friends date night every Wednesday where we all get together for a cuppa and a catch up but I've been a bit slack recently. It was lovely to see them all, and catch up with my friends little boy. My niece rolled from back to front for the first time last night too, so she's now a lot more mobile than she used to be! She's been rolling front to back for a while but couldn't work out what to do with her arm so I'm sure she's very pleased with herself.
I'm doing well with this months grocery budget so far (our month goes from 21st-21st because of my payday), I've broken down spends into a weekly amount and created a new tab so I can do a big shop on a Friday and then just a top up of bread and milk during the week. It seems to be working well so far.
Looking forward to Saturday in London, just need to keep spends under control!
Snagging list at the house is going down, slowly but surely. A very nice man turned up yesterday armed with my list and got quite a bit done
Back to the grind for me now I've done my little catch up, hope everyone is well:j PAID VERY, Barclaycard x3, Vanquis, Natwest, O/D, Tesco & MBNA x2 PAID :j LBM 24/07/15 - Original Debt: £0/31010.23 (100% paid)

Thanks abba, it's definitely because he's been caught out! Makes me mad
I'm not in a very good mood today, very short tempered and a bit emotional so probably not the best time to be horrible to me. I just told him very frostily that if he had done his job properly he wouldn't have caused potential health issues for others and that I wouldn't discuss it further and hung up:j PAID VERY, Barclaycard x3, Vanquis, Natwest, O/D, Tesco & MBNA x2 PAID :j LBM 24/07/15 - Original Debt: £0/31010.23 (100% paid)

Thanks Bob, I've had a lovely bath and am now curled up on the sofa with hot water bottles and a couple of episodes of Bones so I'm a pretty happy bunny, tummy pains aside!
OH stayed up a bit later than me last night and had made me a flashdrive of songs by my favourite band
I think he's hoping for cheese scones in return though :rotfl: baking will have to wait until Sunday I'm afraid

How lovely of him! Cheese scones are one of my favorites to bake too, so hard not to grab them off the oven tray and slather them in butter before they even cool :rotfl:

I thought so mfd, bless him - it was very much appreciated
Thanks CCL, I knew I was doing the right thing so I just stood my ground!
That's exactly why I can't bake until Sunday Bob, they'll be gone before he can take any to work for lunch
Little joint bank account round downs to the mortgage are keeping me happy at the moment. Driving OH mad but keeping me smiling
Having a nightmare with British Gas for utility bills, I've been chasing since the week before we moved in to process a home move request, I've spoken to 9 different people through email and on the phone over the past 7 weeks and I am still on the wrong tariff, and my gas account can't be opened because the developer hasn't added my gas meter to the national database  I hate not knowing where we are with bills. I can't make a payment until the account is fully set up so I'm having to be really careful with the joint account in case I get excited about too much money being in there and make too many mortgage OPs :rotfl::j PAID VERY, Barclaycard x3, Vanquis, Natwest, O/D, Tesco & MBNA x2 PAID :j LBM 24/07/15 - Original Debt: £0/31010.23 (100% paid)
