Thanks all
I've been feeling guilty about my strop all night but I work quite hard at our budget so that we can still do nice things, which I then spend a time looking forward to so I get a bit out of sorts if something gets in the way of that
Ankle and hip are still a bit sore, think I just overdid it. I'm not exactly Miss Fit so walking the circle line route was never going to be fun for a few days afterwards
Ohs best friend is back today. It feels like he only just left! He's staying with us for a week then heading back to Cardiff, and I feel mean saying it but I really am not looking forward to sharing the house again. Must keep telling myself it's only temporary.
I've just read that back and realised what a selfish person I sound! I'd like to think it's more because of my control freak tendencies though. I'm not particularly good with changes to plans and I really dislike sharing my space with people who don't pull their weight.
OH stupidly thought new companies had to honour previously booked holidays which they are now refusing to do so that's fun too.
Well aren't I a barrel of laughs at the moment! I will cheer up, sorry:j PAID VERY, Barclaycard x3, Vanquis, Natwest, O/D, Tesco & MBNA x2 PAID :j LBM 24/07/15 - Original Debt: £0/31010.23 (100% paid)

You're not being selfish at all you like your space and routine and I totally get that I panic a bit when I've planned stuff and it doesn't go to plan thank god hubby knows how to bring me round tho.........I think with plans you need to allow variables xxNEXT TARGET: Halifax credit card DEC 22 £0 / £4499.12POAMAYC 2011 £6378.35 POAMAYC 2012 £5000.78POAMAYC 2013 £3480.04 POAMAYC 2014 £4085.14POAMAYC 2015 £7565.24 POAMAYC 2016 £8000.90 POAMAYC 2017 £7278.80 POAMAYC 2018 £13208.18POAMAYC 2019 £13309.28 POAMAYC 2020 £15026.050

Hi Kirsty
I was just wondering about whatever happened to the BF the other day. I think you had the patience of a saint to tolerate him for that long. I'd be feeling exactly as you are now.
I'm sure you are not feeling exactly yourself either because of the pain you've been in.
Hope tomorrow is a better day.

At least it's not just me Abba I do need to let go a bit, I just find it difficult.
Thanks Bob, he was working in Cardiff for a while and rocked back up in Jan ready for his flight home fro a wedding. He's back tonight and I'm already feeling on edge about it.
I had an interview this afternoon. I didn't think I'd be interested, but I like interviewing so I've got up to date interview experience so went along and I'm actually really interested in the job. It's a pain that it's quite far away but they did say they would allow me to work from home a couple of days a week which would be a massive help fuel wise... Just need to wait and see if they offer it, and if so what kind of package I can negotiate!
I have noticed that the house is my happy place now. I get home, walk into the kitchen and feel instantly better. I'm so glad we went for it. Mortgage is scary to look at but I love it and we'll soon be overpaying regularly:j PAID VERY, Barclaycard x3, Vanquis, Natwest, O/D, Tesco & MBNA x2 PAID :j LBM 24/07/15 - Original Debt: £0/31010.23 (100% paid)

Thanks Bob
They came back this morning with a job offer :j
£1K more than I asked for, and with flexible working plus the opportunity to work from home once I am settled in (probably not for the first 6 months) :j
Only problem being now I am doubting my abilities and whether it would be the right thing to do. I turned down the last job I was offered based on travel times and the impact it would have when we have a family and this is in the same area. What if I hate the company when I start and wish I'd stayed where I was? I'm majorly stressing over this now
I'm going to sit and do a pros and cons list tonight and hope that I can stop stressing long enough to fill it in honestly and effectively. Wish me luck!:j PAID VERY, Barclaycard x3, Vanquis, Natwest, O/D, Tesco & MBNA x2 PAID :j LBM 24/07/15 - Original Debt: £0/31010.23 (100% paid)

Thanks all! I am thrilled that they seem so keen and are willing to compromise on everything for me.
Still so torn. I don't know if I'm holding on to the comfort of what I know rather than what would be best, or if I'm being sensible thinking about when we have a little one. Need to have a serious think but they want an answer today
I can't concentrate at work. I spoke to my boss about it this morning, he is going to discuss it with the accountant and see if there is anything he can do as they don't want to lose me but I don't think it's very hopeful - there is a silent partner who is known for being a bad payer and he takes any talk of moving on very personally.
I have offered to give 6 weeks notice instead of the 4 I am required to give if nothing can be done - the last thing I want is to see all my hard work over the last 4 years disappear and I can't train anyone in a month. They would prefer 3 months but I can't ask the new place to wait that long.
My head is all over the place.:j PAID VERY, Barclaycard x3, Vanquis, Natwest, O/D, Tesco & MBNA x2 PAID :j LBM 24/07/15 - Original Debt: £0/31010.23 (100% paid)

Well done on the job offer.
They obviously think you can do the job so no need to doubt your abilities. If it's something you're interested in & think you would enjoy you should go for it.Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts.
