That's what I'm thinking sashybo, I still get paid monthly so it makes sense to use my wages to cover all bills and OHs wages to pay into savings/present fund etc. We shall see how he feels about it when it;s all explained!
Thanks Bob
I've booked a pre-conception appointment with my Doctor next month so I can make sure I am doing everything right in preparation:j PAID VERY, Barclaycard x3, Vanquis, Natwest, O/D, Tesco & MBNA x2 PAID :j LBM 24/07/15 - Original Debt: £0/31010.23 (100% paid)

A preconception appointment? That sounds fancy. Well I swear by vitabiotocs trying to conceive. They have all the stuff you need in there to be healthy and regulate your periods. I still have all my teeth so that's my testimonial haha. Not very mse but there you go.
You'll suss it. Child benefit is 4 weekly too and I love it for that xxxLoan 1 £5200/£8000

It's just to get some bloods etc done to see if I'm ovulating by myself really Kitten. The general consensus of the gynaes is that I will need a lap and ovarian drilling in order to conceive but if I'm ovulating I'd like to give it a go naturally for a few months first. It's still a way off, but I was told I'd need a few blood tests to determine whether I am ovulating so I thought if I get the ball rolling at least I'll be more prepared
I've made another overpayment to the mortgage this morning - budgeted but it seems like a drop in the ocean
I've just bought some folic acid with vitamin D to start taking in March as they say 3-6 months prior to TTC so I want to get it in my system in time.:j PAID VERY, Barclaycard x3, Vanquis, Natwest, O/D, Tesco & MBNA x2 PAID :j LBM 24/07/15 - Original Debt: £0/31010.23 (100% paid)

I didn't think you meant chuck the pill in the bin. I definitely think it's a good idea to start on the vitamins now
Ugh the prep involved. Theyll never know. Definitely have a go on your own. And do read the vitabiotics thing as it has stuff in there that helps you.
Well done on your overpaymenti think once you've paid the debts you're just going to power through your mortgage. You won't know what else to do with all the extra money! X

I'll have a read up on the vitabiotics - I was a bit overwhelmed by all the options when I went to superdrug so just grabbed the Folic Acid one.
It's definitely scary at the moment but I am trying to calm myself down by being as prepared as I possibly can!
That's the plan Kitten, although that will depend on whether or not we conceiveFor the interim, once DF we will be putting the debt payment amount into a savings account to tide us over whilst I'm on maternity. All very scary exciting at this point but I don't want to get ahead of myself when we don't even know if I can conceive. Deep breaths!

Well done on your overpayment. Don't think of it as a drop in the ocean. Remember the mantra ' how do you eat an elephant?' one bite at a time. Now do you need sauce with that
Good luck on all the baby stuff too. I really hope it works out for you." Your vibe attracts your tribe":D

Thanks Bob, I'm trying to focus on what a difference it will make over the lifetime of the mortgage. I remember thinking the same about by debt when I had my LBM, so I know that little and often is the way forward for me, I just wish it could be more often!:j PAID VERY, Barclaycard x3, Vanquis, Natwest, O/D, Tesco & MBNA x2 PAID :j LBM 24/07/15 - Original Debt: £0/31010.23 (100% paid)

I know, it's so hard not getting frustrated isn't it. I feel the same. Look how much I have left. some people would have that whipped before breakfast and then go for a jog...But I try not to feel too irritated" Your vibe attracts your tribe":D

It's so frustrating, but you've cleared almost 50% of your total in 26 days Bob, that's amazing going!
