Kirsty - my dh walked round on a broken ankle for 2 days without knowing. Don't leave it too long, and I hope that you feel better soon. Not giving up
Working hard to pay off my debt
Time to take back control

Thanks ccl - there may also be a small part of me that doesn't want to know if it's broken just yet as I'm going on a spa day on Saturday which I couldn't go on in plaster
I can go on crutches and am not having a pedicure or reflexology or anything so hopefully nothing to make it worse!

I hope it's not broken. I had the experience when I was 7 of being tripped in the playground and landing on my wrist. The headmistress at the time was very draconian and old school and didn't call my parents for hours. I remember to this day having to help put an exhibition up of paintings in the school hall because I couldn't sit still in class. When my Mum came eventually she was very angry and sure enough the wrist was broken...These days I think schools are keen to err on the side of caution because of the litegation culture..." That's awful Bob, I imagine your mum wasn't best pleased!
I think in some ways it has gone too far the other way. A and E seems full of people who have had a fall and have little to no pain but just want to get checked out - I always feel like such a fraud going in saying I fell and hurt my ankle that I do my best not to go unless forced!:j PAID VERY, Barclaycard x3, Vanquis, Natwest, O/D, Tesco & MBNA x2 PAID :j LBM 24/07/15 - Original Debt: £0/31010.23 (100% paid)

Hi Kirsty! I'm also terrified of A&E. I always seem to leave with a sickness bug. People do not seem to understand its for accidents and emergencies. Not 'well i didn't manage to get into the gp this week'. Also 9 times out of 10 they tell you to rest and take paracetamol. So i don't blame you.
I have weird news that I don't know if i believe. Apparently my endo is gone. Having dd2 and breast feeding both of them for so long has got rid of it. I just have nerve damage now from having it so long. So that's may be of some comfort to you. Babies could 'cure' you. I'm still processing it. I dont know what to think. It's great news because I did what they told me and it worked.
So keep your pecker up as it can all come rightjust recovering from the laparoscopy and popping on to encourage you on some more.
Good luck with new job to both of you xxxxLoan 1 £5200/£8000

Kitten that's amazing news! Hope your recovery is going well. I kept being told having children was a cure and you aren't the first person I have heard of being endo free after kids so I can only keep everything crossed! xx:j PAID VERY, Barclaycard x3, Vanquis, Natwest, O/D, Tesco & MBNA x2 PAID :j LBM 24/07/15 - Original Debt: £0/31010.23 (100% paid)

Well I've finally got internet and sky TV at home - very :money: as sky are effectively paying me to have the TV package
OH and I had a big talk about kids and the future last night, and I feel very positive that when the time is right, we are ready. Or as ready as anyone ever is anyway!
We have spent some unbudgeted money for OHs work clothes. It has had to be done as he only had 1 shirt and a pair of going out trousers that he was wearing, so we've had to buy him a couple of work shirts (only cheapies from primarni), a jumper and some work trousers (good old sainsburys!) plus some gloves as he is now walking to work and it freezing. I'll get it paid back to savings ASAP but I know it wasn't frivolous spending so not too bad. I also had to buy a couple of pairs of leggings as I had 2 pairs left without holes in and one of those gave up the ghost on Friday. Again, unbudgeted but necessary so will take those out this months PAD money.
Trying to convince OH that we need to be properly joint money wise now that his pay is all weird or we could end up very confused about everything. Will be doing some more spreadsheets tonight so I can show him what I mean as he doesn't really understand when I try to explain it all. It's earlier than we wanted to have joint finances (I wanted debts paid off first, and preferably a ring in place(!!), but needs must):j PAID VERY, Barclaycard x3, Vanquis, Natwest, O/D, Tesco & MBNA x2 PAID :j LBM 24/07/15 - Original Debt: £0/31010.23 (100% paid)

Oh Kirsty that all sounds wonderful. I'm so happy for you. Perhaps you could each still have an account and one joint one for the bills? That's what we have so we can be separate but still get the bills paid. You'll suss it all out though I'm sure.
Well done you. Watching call the midwife and I'm a teary mess. XxxLoan 1 £5200/£8000

We've got a joint account for mortgage/bills etc, one for presents throughout the year, one for joint savings and one for entertainment (to cover snacks if we are out, meals out or takeaways/cinema/bowling if we want to do anything like that. It usually goes on food, hence our ever expanding waistlines
) and the rest is separate at the moment but because of OHs new payday not being the same date every month I'm concerned there could be a problem with budgeting properly. I'm probably being over cautious!
I watched I didn't know I was pregnant yesterday and was in tears - OH thinks I'm mad!! xx:j PAID VERY, Barclaycard x3, Vanquis, Natwest, O/D, Tesco & MBNA x2 PAID :j LBM 24/07/15 - Original Debt: £0/31010.23 (100% paid)

Hi Kirsty, both DH & I are paid four-weekly and it is a bit of a nightmare for budgeting as bills etc are all monthly. Our bank account must look like it's all over the place spending wise. We've tried spreading the bills out over the month but it is difficult. I found it easier when DH was paid monthly & I was four-wekly though as at least DH's wages were in place for DD's etc.
Good to hear you had a positive chat with OH.:jSuccess is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts. Car loan 1 £11,174, Car loan 2 £5,532, CC 0% BT £780. Debt Free Diary to try & keep spending in check.0
