This is a scam so why don't you all just ignore them?! Do you all send prove it letters to Nigerian princes too?0

I had received a GGN letter 26/9 , they want me send £224.68 to them as they said I owe them money . But , I saw it online that it said it was a free trial , only need to pay for the postage . After 9months , I received this letter and ask me to pay them . Also , it notice that 7days got to bank in to them if not they will takes a legal actions . I'm quite scare and worry . Can someone help me and teach me what to do ? I did email them today , but I don't know how long they takes to reply my email . I'm really scare .0

@shortcrust
:mad: Thank you so very much for your somewhat arrogant unhelpful comment:T:T:T . These forums are supposed to help people who are being targeted by unscrupulous companies, NOT RIDICULE THEM - if you wish to do that, I suggest you troll alternative sites.
Yes, we KNOW it's a scam but if people continue to do nothing as you suggest, these companies will keep sending out threatening emails and SOME people become highly agitated and scared. From the posts that have emailed GGN, it appears that if chllenged, GGN miraculously close the case.
And for your information, no I don't write to Nigerian or any other princes0 -

Does the GGN reply your email quick ? I have the same company with you 7 seas , international ,Ltd . I'm bought a free trial slimgenix , are ur same with me ?0

My daughter has fallen victim to this, they took 4 p and p payments then £104.50 from her card after she asked for a fee trial with 7 seas, nothing was ever received (thankfully, it could be toxic!)
Her card company refunded the £104.50but not the p and p of £7.96
They take the money as part of a CPA (continuous payment authority,)which you unwittingly sign up for when you ask for a free trial, but you can cancel this with your card company whenever you like and don't have to tell the scamming company.
They are clearly relying on people being scared and paying, as they seem to back down immediately if challenged.
I can't figure out if GGN no are a real debt collecting agency or not but have emailed them anyway to say that 7 seas owes her money and I shall be reporting both companies to all the relevant authorities.
Don't be scared and DONT pay them anything!0 -
GGN certainly appear to be a genuine (albeit not UK-based) debt collector. See https://translate.google.co.uk/translate?hl=en&sl=nl&u=https://www.ggn.nl/&prev=search
The website is extensive, there's no way a scammer would go to so much trouble creating a fake website and there's no offical English version of the page, it seems odd that they'd create an entire website for a fake company and then write it in a language that the vast majority of their victims won't speak.
Of course whether the letters themselves are actually from GGN or not is another matter entirely.0 -
Yes I thought that about the website-have just found a Facebook page with some unhappy comments...they seem to be a very bad debt collecting agency 'inhuman' 'hide behind threats' 'administrative chaos' that last one from an employee...so I think the letters probably are from them..it's outrageous.0

I did send an email to GGN on Sunday 27/9 , but until now 28/9 still now received their email . Does everyone knows how long they takes to reply my email ?0
